Tang Qian's face remained stern. If not for the thought of not losing her temper in front of her son, she would have already let out the anger brewing inside her.
"Come here," she yelled from the doorway.
"Huh? What's the matter, sister-in-law?" Wei Shuqin asked, quietly pulling Wei An's hand as she spoke.
Wei An may have been a brat, but he was sharp. He immediately understood her intentions and said, "No! I won't let auntie go, I want her to stay with me."
Tang Qian's heart ached even more seeing her son not siding with her. All she could say to Wei Shuqin was, "Come out, I need to talk to you."
"No! I won't let auntie go, you leave! Get out! You are useless, I hate you!" Wei An's tyrannical temper flared up. He recited all the words that Wei Shuqin had told him.
Having experienced a beating and the torment of it, his temper was even larger than before, and he began to wail from his bed. His crying echoed through the hallway.
