Chapter 5

When Hyun Na Bi opened her eyes the next day, she heard that Jin Yong was gone. But she had found a newfound determination. Hyun Na Bi could not forget Jin Yong's words. Jin Yong had asked her to wait and promised her he would come back for her. That is when Hyun Na Bi had made a decision, she would enter S university. She knew that she was bad in studies and getting into S university was a very very difficult task, but it did not matter to her, she had will power. Hyun Na Bi had studied and worked hard restlessly and the result was seen in the college entrance examination. She had gotten just enough to enter the university which was a huge achievement from her part. At last Hyun Na Bi was able to enter college when she was 21.

Hyun Na Bi had no interest in doing a management course but since Jin Yong studied management, she entered the same course without any hesitation. She enrolled into various classes just because Jin Yong attended those. He was a year senior to her in college but it did not feel so for Hyun Na Bi because she was in all his classes. Unlike what Hyun Na Bi thought, Jin Yong hadn't joined the college as soon as he had completed his schooling. He had joined college only a year prior to her and he was only in his 2nd year now. That meant that two years no one knew where he was or what he was doing.

Jin Yong was quite shocked to see her joining the same university and unlike what Hyun Na Bi expected, Jin Yong was not happy to see her. He was no longer the Jin Yong who cared for her and loved only her; no… he was too different from his old self. Hyun Na Bi had seen this when she saw him the last time during the funeral but she chose to ignore all these characteristics.

As time went on, Hyun Na Bi could see that Jin Yong was no longer the same person from the past, but she was not ready to give up on him. But Jin Yong ignored her and she just couldn't take it. Hyun Na Bi felt like her life was falling apart. She had done everything she could to try to get him back but nothing changed, she felt like Jin Yong had moved on from her. This had gone on for a couple of months once she had joined college and suddenly she came to know that Jin Yong was currently dating Ahn Se Na. Hyun Na Bi had started bullying Ahn Se Na and tried to do everything in her power to break them apart but nothing worked. There was life changing moment in her life where she thought Jin Yong would finally come back to her but that was when she saw Jin Yong proposing to Ahn Se Na and with that Hyun Na Bi had lost it. This happened at the final day of her third year in university before the summer break.

No goodbyes were exchanged and that was the last time Hyun Na Bi had seen Jin Yong. Hyun Na Bi had discontinued her studies and returned back to the countryside without a word to anyone. That was when she met her husband Park Dae Hyun. Days after Hyun Na Bi returned to her home, her grandmother and mother died due to the flu and she was left all alone in the world. With Jin Yong breaking her heart, Hyun Na Bi had shut herself at her home.

When there was no one else for Hyun Na Bi during those difficult times, Park Dae Hyun was there by her side the entire time. Park Dae Hyun had fallen in love with her at first sight and wanted to marry her. With no one left for her, Hyun Na Bi agreed to Park Dae Hyun's proposal and married him. Park Dae Hyun was from a rich family and Hyun Na Bi knew that she wouldn't have to worry about materialistic things if she married him, so she had said yes. He had told her about his past marriage and about how his wife had died within months and he was now a widower. For Hyun Na Bi the marriage was not out of love, but rather out of convenience so she did not mind that he was previously married.

But Park Dae Hyun loved her truly and was the most caring husband and slowly she started forgetting Jin Yong. When Hyun Na Bi was kidnapped one day, before her marriage, Park Dae Hyun decided that it was no longer safe to live here and left abroad with her. Within a couple of years after marrying Park Dae Hyun, she had completely forgotten about Jin Yong. Her life was happy now and all the feelings she had for Jin Yong was gone and replaced with love for Park Dae Hyun. As soon as they were married he had taken her abroad away from his family and Hyun Na Bi had the time of her life there.
