Chapter 13

Hyun Na Bi just wanted to stay in bed for the weekend but had to wake up to attend the meeting. 9 am was too early for her for just doing school work but with the other three in the group coming early; she somehow pushed herself up from bed and got ready. The café was just opposite to Jin Yong's place and was 15 minutes away from the dorm by walk.

By the time Hyun Na Bi reached the café she was panting for breath and that's when she noticed the other person who had decided to join the meeting, Jin Yong. Somehow she hadn't seen him from their little encounter but now he was sitting there next to Ahn Se Na with a smile plastered on his face.

Hyun Na Bi murmured under her breath, 'It's going to be a very long day' and with the way Ahn Se Na was staring at her, she knew that some drama will unfold today. Jin Yong was her senior and she knew that he did not have to come at all but Ahn Se Na must have dragged him here just to piss her off. Too bad, Ahn Se Na had no idea what was running on Hyun Na Bi's mind. Hyun Na Bi looked at the other two classmates who were part of the team. She had no idea who the other two were. That is when she realized, just like the past she hadn't spoken with her classmates and did not even know their names.

Without sitting, Hyun Na Bi placed her laptop and bag on the seat and said, "Let's start the discussion after I get something to eat"

Ahn Se Na snapped at her, "We are not hungry. You can go and get whatever you want but I'm starting it now. I can't waste my time just for you"

When Jin Yong saw Hyun Na Bi walk in, he knew that Ahn Se Na must have done this on purpose. She had started a fight with him on the day he dragged Hyun Na Bi out, but with just a hug and a word of assurance she hadn't brought up the topic again. But from her behavior today, he understood that he should have a conversation with Ahn Se Na after this.

Hyun Na Bi was staring at Ahn Se Na and before she could open her mouth, Jin Yong said, "What can I get for everyone?"

Hyun Na Bi tried to keep a poker face and said, "Get me a double cheese burger and a macron and a coke"

Now it was Ahn Se Na's turn to stare at Hyun Na Bi.

"What? He was one who asked. You call us early in the morning and we are not allowed to eat"

"Eat whatever you want but don't ask my boyfriend to get it for you or pay for your food"

Hyun Na Bi just rolled her eyes and got up to get her food. She did not want to irritate Ahn Se Na or fight with her over Jin Yong. She was hungry and she would rather go and get food and miss the meeting than sit with Ahn Se Na for hours.

But Jin Yong jumped in once again and said to Hyun Na Bi, "Sit and start the work. I'll get the food for everyone"

Hyun Na Bi got up from her seat, "Thanks but no thanks. Can't you see your girlfriend trying to kill me with her eyes? Look (Hyun Na Bi took cash from her wallet and waved it in front of Ahn Se Na) I'm going to get food for me with my own money."

"I said sit"

Jin Yong pushed Hyun Na Bi down on the chair and went to fetch the food. Hyun Na Bi silently pushed her things to the side and laid down on the table carefully avoiding eye contact with Ahn Se Na. She had maintained her distance from Jin Yong as much as she could and she couldn't do anything if Ahn Se Na brought Jin Yong here. It was her fault.

Hyun Na Bi was munching on her food as she listened to them. From time to time Ahn Se Na would place her hands on Jin Yong's over the table, wink at him, act cute with him or something to grab his attention. Every time Ahn Se Na did this, Jin Yong's eyes would fly towards Hyun Na Bi which Ahn Se Na did not see, but the other two in the team noticed. Hyun Na Bi found this to be quite funny and tried hard to maintain a poker face.

Ahn Se Na stopped after some time when she couldn't get any reaction from Hyun Na Bi. She hoped that Hyun Na Bi would yell at her, fight with her or do something which would result in an outburst between the two but Hyun Na Bi did not even look at her. In the past, whenever Hyun Na Bi fought with her, Jin Yong would support her and Ahn Se Na felt that their relationship improved through this. Hyun Na Bi couldn't help but feel pity for Ahn Se Na. She knew how Ahn Se Na's relationship with Jin Yong ended but she was not ready to change her fate. She had enough problems on her own to worry about others. So whenever Ahn Se Na tried to infuriate Hyun Na Bi, she couldn't help but think about her future and feel pity for her.

Hyun Na Bi was yawing and bored out of her wits as she listened to the discussion. They knew far less than her and their conversation was making her feel sleepy. She read all the details provided to them and was surprised to find that it was quite a simple report. Maybe she could pass the subject after all. They were still talking nonsense but Hyun Na Bi was done with her work. Whenever Hyun Na Bi looked up from her laptop, Jin Yong's eyes were on her.
