"Natsu… You should know me by now. I did what I did just because she was annoying and getting in my way."
"You are telling me… You make Erza feel so much pain for such a pathetic reason!" Orange fire overflowed from Natsu's body.
Marks started appearing on Natsu's face, and his magic skyrocketed. Some scales appeared on his body, his canines got longer, and his senses were enhanced.
The guild members started feeling an incredible fire from his body.
It was strong. Terrifyingly strong.
"The power of your emotions never ceases to amaze me. To think you are capable of utilizing the Dragon Force without an external magical substance as a catalyst." Shun said while the Azure Flames around him got denser.
Incredibly enough, Natsu's fire was just as dense as Shun's flames. Natsu felt like he possessed unlimited power at the current moment.
Shun didn't appear to be worried. Natsu jumped at Shun with the expression as if he was planning to destroy him!
At this moment, a Gigantic handheld Natsu tightly as Makarov loudly shouted, "ENOUGH! THERE WILL BE NO MORE FIGHTING!"
Strangely enough, after he said that order, the Dragon Force disappeared.
Makarov looked at Shun with a rare look of anger in his eyes, "You… You have harmed your guildmate greatly. For that… I banish you from the Fairy Tail for 2 years! Do not step foot in this guild within the 2 years or else you will be on the wanted list of the Magic Council!"
The order was somewhat shocking for the guild members. To be on the Wanted list of Magic Council meant all the guilds in Fiore would hunt for him.
"Very well… I shall accept it." With that, the Blue Flames around him disappeared, and Shun jumped down from the first floor with a smile on his face.
"See you all later!" He started moving out of the guild with a smile. Mira, Wilson, Wendy, and Carla followed after him.
Natsu remained behind as Makarov kept his tight hold over him. He knew if he was allowed to go, Natsu would start fighting.
Makarov gave him a sharp glare and ordered, "Don't fight Shun. Calm down for now. I will bring Erza to Porlyusica. She should be able to heal her back to full strength."
He went forward to pick up Erza. The thin garment of Flame Empress Armour seemed to be covering her body. It didn't really protect her from the flames, but the clothing itself was immune to fire, so it didn't get burned off and reveal her body.
Makarov looked at her body and was surprised. He noticed that there were only small injuries on her body.
This confused him. With the way, she was screaming so loudly, he was sure she must have felt the pain of her bones melting away.
He touched her hand and felt that nothing seemed to be broken. Other than those small wounds… She was fine.
He then remembered that only one person had remained calm while Shun was torturing Erza. It was Gildarts. He noticed how Gildarts lowered his head, unable to meet Makarov's gaze. It was like he was hiding something.
Makarov spoke out with a loud voice, "Gildarts, join me for some small talk. I wanted to ask you something."
"Very well, Master," Gildarts said with an extremely calm voice.
The guild members were curious as to why he was being called out. The Master held Erza's body in his arms and went out of the Guild Hall to take her to Porlyusica. Gildarts joined him rather quickly.
After they were far away from the guild, Master Makarov asked Gildarts, "So, what are you hiding? Spill it…"
Gildarts let out a long tired sigh, "I never expected I have to reveal it so soon."
His eyes turned serious, and he started talking, "What do you think about the Dragon? Do you feel like it was the truth?"
"How does it relate to the current situation?" Makarov frowned as this wasn't what he wanted to know.
Let the Dragon be damned! Shun just harmed one of his children so cruelly. He couldn't be bothered with the Dragon thing right now.
"Believe me when I say, it is completely related to that. Now… tell me your thoughts about the appearance of the Dragon."
Makarov went in deep thought about it as he tried to remember the time when the Dragon appeared. He had felt it's magic power clearly. He was sure that its shape was that of a Dragon.
He had also felt it when the Dragon let out his majestic Roar. There was little chance that he could be wrong about it.
"I believe the fact about the Dragon appearing. We both sensed it clearly. It was far beyond any of us…very… very strong."
Nodding his head, Gildarts agreed with Makarov, "You are right. However, what I haven't mentioned until now is that he isn't the only Dragon in this era. The Dragon mentioned another Dragon by the name of Acnologia."
"Do you know the reason why Dragons went extinct? It was because of this Dragon named Acnologia. The Dragon which appeared here seems to be one of the strongest dragons which managed to survive the fight against Acnologia in earlier times. It was injured severely and was hibernating to restore its strength. However… it still didn't manage to restore its power."
Makarov intently listened to Gildarts' words. Though most of the Gildarts' story was made-up, it wasn't without some truth in it. The overall story was the same.
He just didn't mention Shun's connection with Zeref and the fact that this Dragon was Igneel, the one which raised Natsu.
"Shun healed that Dragon with his flames. He wanted the Dragon to keep this Dragon named Acnologia at bay. Now, what do you think will the Magic Council's reaction be after figuring that the Dragon was indeed real? With their information network, it shouldn't take them long to figure out. You have been on the Magic Council for a long time. I am sure you can guess what their course of action would be, no?"
