CHAPTER 7, AFTERMATH

As I opened my eyes, I was in an unfamiliar place. Light comming through the glass doors and a large bed. This isn't the mansion? Where am I? "Haru's awake!!" Rose exclaimed as she sat on the chair beside the bed.

"Haru!!" The five brides exclaimed hugging me immediately.

"Don't scare us like that!!" Asami exclaimed.

"That's right!!" Yue said as tears fell down her face.

"Sorry... where am I?" I asked.

"The castle." Ella answered.

"How's everyone?" I asked worried of everyone's condition.

"We're doing fine." Clover said as he greeted me and just then, I recall it.

"What about the first prince, the curse?!" I asked.

"It's gone, thanks to you." He said comming into the room with his sister and the Duke and King. "We have something for you."

"For saving my son and the nation, you have my thanks." The king said bowing his head and I immediately asked him to raise his. He was as old as the duke, with the exact same build, the only difference was his golden hair. "As humble as I've heard."

"This is?" I asked looking at the box.

"It's an artificial arm. It should help substitute for your lost limb." He said.

"Ah, no need to worry about that." I said as I looked at my now armless shoulder... straight to the shoulder ehh.

I quickly made it grow back and after the muscle, flesh and skin restored themselves I tested out the new arm. No prblem as far as I can feel. "Eehh?!! It grew right back?!" They all exclaimed except for Lita who knew.

"H-how?" The king asked.

"My blood is mixed with vampire and werewolves so I inherited the characteristics of the two as well as the high grade healing ability they have." I explained. "Therefore, you have nothing to fear, your highness. And on that note, I thought I told you guys about that."

"Ahahaha, we kinda forgot." Alexi answered with a stiff laugh.

"No need to bother with the honorifics, I know who you are. King Haru." He told me as he cane closer.

"Ella!!" I exclaimed as I looked at my fiancee who just turned her head away.

"Sorry, but I had no choice. Uncle's informants are good." She said.

"W-whats going on?" Sky asked with an unexplainable expression. "I think the king just called Haru a king."

"It's as you heard. Technically I'm a king, the heir to the Aerial Isles throne, Haruki Morganite Tsuki." I said with a sigh. "That said, how much about me do you know?"

"Quite a lot, for example that little girl over there, Lita was it. She's the Goddess of Light." He laughed and we just nodded our heads as those who had no idea just staeed at Lita with shocked expressions. "Now then, I believe we have much to talk about but for now, I'll let my children talk to you. It seems my daughter is quite captivated by you."

"Ehh!?" We all exclaimed and looked at the blushing young lady.

"If you would, can you take her as your bride?" The first prince asked bowing his head. "I beg of you, it's fine if she isn't a wife, even if she is just a lover or a mistress."

"With her, that makes six in all, nine seats left." I said as I looked at the princess. I had this feeling when we first met earlier today, so she does like me... I'm not against in anyway as I could feel her love but... I turned to the other fiancees. "I'm not against it, girls?"

"She has my stamp of approval." Aria said and offered her a hand.

"Same with me." Yue said walking closer to her.

"I agree, though I already saw this comming." Ella said with a smile.

"I don't have any objections." Asami followed.

"It's already five to none, I don't think my vote is worth much." Lita said with a smile and sat beside me then whispered something in my ear. "Haruki, your body isn't stable is it? The divinity in you isn't stable anymore."

"That so?" I asked her and she nodded her head.

"What are you two talking about?" Rain asked.

"About Haruki's current state, he is banned from using Divine Trance." She smiled. "After all, we can't have our future husband becoming a divine completely. By the way, if 'that' were to cone undone, you don't have anything to fear about your body."

"'That', what is it?" Lucia asked.

"It's nothing." The two of us answered as we smiled. Lita's the only one whom I've told about the Seal of Two Souls after all.

"Well, anyways, we're just glad you're doing well." Sirius said.

"You worried us good alright." Ryu said hitting me gently on the shoulder. "So? What's your plan from now on? The Games have been brought to an end due to Phantom Gem."

"There are still a few things I need to deal with." I said with a smile.

"And what's that?" Queen asked glaring at me.

"Where did that Demon King come from, how it came into contact with Phantom Gem..." I answered. "There still many things I have to find out for now."

"That so? Well, most of us are going to be here till the last day of the festival." Spark said.

"For now, I'll get some rest at home." I said.

"Please, if you need to heal up, stay here." Lux-nii-san said, I'm calling him nii-san since he is older than me and he is technically my brother in law now.

"It's better if I head home to the Aerial Isles. There are things I need to clear as well." I said.

"Haruki, don't force your body." Lita said placing her hand on my shoulder.

"I'm not forcing it." I smiled. "There's something I need to check as well."

"Nothing we can do. That look in his eyes can't be stopped." Jade said with a sigh.

"Don't worry, I won't overdo it." I said.

There are things I need to find out for myself, problems I need to deal with, too many questions left unanswered. The truth that is so close in my eyes, I'll figure it out.
