Chapter 27, A Purebred Escaped

Instinctively, I draw my sword but no matter how you look at it, there's so many of them you'd think I have a death wish. Even so, I charge at them with my sword, hoping I can mow down their numbers.

"Howl, blow, roar, wind of the ancient skies, Azure Gale!" As I hack away at them, I cast a few spells to get rid of them but to no avail. As I thought, magic doesn't work on them much.

The plus side is, Hermes' Boots grant my flight so I don't waste any mana with flight and even damage them when I kick. As I fend off their numbers I notice that Hera and Luna-san seem to be fighting as well. Using magic. I'm guessing that's Hera' s Anti-Titan Artifact.

I raise my sword to the sky and it's engulfed in light. I slash away and waves of light originate from where my sword was swung cutting away at the Titans. I'm sent flying by a elephant Titan and I fall a few yards from Hera and Luna-san. When I pick myself up, an arrow pierces the body of the snake Titan that's about to devour me.

In the instant that it takes to get up, in front of me a woman has appeared, with her blonde hair tied in a a braid down her back, dressed in a leather coat with a black shirt underneath and pants with boots. She holds a bow in her hand and a sheathe of arrows is sling over her back.

"Artemis!" Hera called out. Then this woman is Artemis, the Guardian of the Hunt.

Then, in the distance, comes more rumbling and this time, more human Titans were present and I see a man among them who seems to be commanding the other ones.

"Hera, hurry, we have to cast a sealing spell!" A man with black hair and blue eyes with white skin and dressed in a black cloak shouted out to her. "While we were away, a Purebred escaped!!"

"Then, that's him?" I asked him as I joined up with them.

"Yeah. The Titan of Heavenly Light and my idiot father, Hyperion." A man, with golden hair, white skin and crimson eyes said. He was dressed in a white jacket with black pants. The jacket was zipped up but I could see his brown shirt underneath.

"Helios, help me out. We'll fend off the little pests." A man, with red hair, white skin and black eyes dressed in armor said.

"Okay Ares." He answered.

I see, these two are Ares and Helios. Helios the Gaurdian of the Sun and Ares the Guardian of War. They'll be helpful.

"Hera, Hades, please prepare to seal Hyperion. I'll help if I can." I offered.

"No thank you." Hades said as he patted my head. "Luna can help with the sealing, can you keep them busy?"

"I can." I said and thought of something.

"Here they come!!" Hephaestus, a man with black hair, brown skin and amber eyes said, he was dressed in an blacksmity attire.

"Under the light of Selene and Helios, the Inchor glows bright. The blood awakens from deep within." I chanted. "Oh ye who sleeps within me, I call upon thee, grant me thy strength."

It's a spell that allows me some degree of control of my demon powers but it can curropt me if I'm not careful.

I jump into the air and hack away at the Titans and see Hyperion clearly from above, with azure eyes, golden hair and white skin, dressed in armor that seems to have stars on it. He towers higher than many Titans, maybe twenty feet or so? I don't know but he's definitely tall.

I hack away at the Titans with Ares while Artemis shoots arrows from afar and Helios casts magic. I see Hephaestus making something in the ground while Hera, Hades and Luna make what must be the spell to seal Hyperion away.

I make much effort to drive them away but the Titans keep coming endlessly. I trying my best to buy time for the three to cast the spell but I'm not sure my body can hold out after nearly an hour of this. I know I'm getting closer to my limit but I don't pause, I continue to hack away at them.

Then, a beam of light pierces the hide of a Titan horse and giving me the chance to slash of its head. I charge at Hyperion, my sword ready to pierce his skin but as I get closer I'm sent flying back. With just a punch he sent me flying. So this is the power of a Purebred? They're strong alright.

"We're ready!" Luna-san shouted.

I turn to see a magical circle appear over Hyperion's head but for some reason, it breaks and the three suddenly collapse. Hyperion aims at Helios and he is sent flying towards Artemis and her arrow pierces Ares back causing him to lose balance and his sowrd flies for Hephaestus who doesn't have time to dodge it and collapses. I don't have the time to get to them because in the next instant Hyperion is on me. I hold my sword and ground. I'm thinking this is it, that this is where I'll disappear when suddenly a light engulfs me. My mouth opens and a spell I've never heard of leaves my mouth.

"By the light of the Guardians, by the power of the Hero. I hereby call upon thee, the ones who sleep deep within, become restrains and hold the skies." I chanted an unfamiliar spell. "Become sealed, Sfragída."

Then, above Hyperion, a seal appears, pair rings. In an instant, Hyperion disappeared and thunder rained down on the few remaining Titans.

I fall to the ground and I see a figure appear infront of me. Someone familiar but I don't know who it is. As my consciousness fades, all I make out is their golden hair then my eyes close and I lose consciousness.
