Story 14 Pokemon, Multiversal Streamer Chapter 1

I got the fast track in reincarnation due to my rather boring death of being tripped by my dog and falling down the stairs to my death. And after scanning my soul and mind, with how I didn't blame my dog for said death or anything I was given a chance to reincarnate into the world of Pokemon.

But with said boring death and having an apparently weak soul my sponsor couldn't slot some super powerful cheat into my soul without it collapsing so I was given this... Thing.

"I can't even lead a Discord call... How am I going to be a live streamer whose video's will go out across the multiverse." I muttered to myself as I stood up and looked around and saw that I was transported into an alley way and knowing the majority of the Pokemon regions especially the older ones. And having actually seen the anime for the first three regions as a kid... 

I looked around as I exited the alleyway and as I saw a pidgey flying through the air and landing on a nearby building I recognized the super-sized shopping center, along with the trains running through the area marking the area as the hub of Kanto. I was dropped off into Saffron city... With a literal super psychic in the city running the gym of super monsters.

'Probably should be leaving the city.' I thought before looking into my streaming system as I considered my goals now that I had been reincarnated.

I paused as I realized I actually now did have a trainer license... Though and with a mental prod I blinked as in my inventory was the paperwork, some coins I knew were Pokedollars and lastly a trio of shrunken down Pokeballs.

"But one question remains..." I muttered to myself as I looked around at the generally happily walking around people going about their days and seeing some Pokemon on leashes or just happily following their humans I didn't think this was some Grimdark version of Pokemon where said Pokemon would eat humanity and what not.

Meaning that just wandering out into the wild in search of my fortunes wouldn't be that dangerous so long as I didn't do anything particularly stupid.

After ascertaining I most likely didn't need to worry about a random Caterpie eating my face in the middle of the night, I refocused on my system and checked out the quests and donations tab.

[Donations- Donations are materials or things that viewers are approved to send relevant to your current world line. / Quest Objectives, Viewers can commission quests for the user to accomplish and should they be accepted the system will perform the payment to the user as the system will break down the viewer's payment for energy system energy usage.]

I nodded in understanding and then noticed that there was already several quests lined up in the Quest Objectives. [Quest 1- Aquire a Pokemon to submit to being within your Pokeball.- Reward, awakening of Aura and allowing the user to delve into the captured Pokemon's typing.] [Quest 2- Defeat a trainer.- Reward, five shop tokens/Quest repeatable.] [Quest 3- Defeat a Gym Leader./ Reward, increase internal Aura stores by 25%/Quest repeatable.]

And the quests went on... And on honestly. [Quest 13- Defeat a trainer's Pokemon with your own Aura abilities while telling them that their Pokemon aren't worthy of fighting yours./ Reward, Menancing walk aura from Jojoverse] [Quest 69- Become intimate with a female trainer you have previously defeated./Reward, Access to their starter Pokemon's energy typing./Quest Repeatable with different trainers.]

My lips twitched seeing the last mission in Quest 69 besides the first one was the only way for me to gain energy typing for my Aura whenever I unlocked it via capturing a Pokemon. So with that said I went to the Shop segment and I raised an eyebrow at seeing its contents.

[Hot Pockets X50- 5 Shop tokens]

[Leaf Stone X1- 100 Shop Tokens]

[All purpose Pokemon Feed which adjusts to Pokemon's current taste desire X6- 10 Shop Tokens]

[Ultra Balls X1- 25 Shop Tokens]

Within the shop at least for now, there wasn't anything like powers in a bottle which made sense with how my sponsor said my soul wasn't ready for powerful enhancements.

 Either way, I looked at the final tab of note besides the start/end tab of the streaming and after a moment of reading I understood that the streamer tickets were basically just the entry point for my stream to hit people with karmic destiny in the multiverse.

So with that all said. I took a breath and then mentally sent out the stream tickets so people could join the stream if they wanted to as I continued leaving Saffron City while turning on the stream finally.

[Ding, Stream Invitations Sent!]

My system said but I just continued walking as I considered something crucial. Within the surrounding area of Saffron city, there was a decent selection of native Pokemon and once you considered that a lot of times some Pokemon weren't only found in their native region there was a decent chance of finding some out of-region Pokemon for example as I walked onto Route Seven to the West of Saffron City, I could see some Taillow flying through the air and I knew they were from the Hoenn region.

'Beyond just not catching a Rattata which won't be that strong or have too much potential without me somehow catching a genetic anomaly, I also want a Pokemon that doesn't just have a Normal typing... I wish I could catch a Steel type so I could try to become bulletproof though.' I thought as I continued walking down the path of Route 7 trying to see if I could find a particular pokemon of notice.

But I was mostly just seeing Oddish's walking around the surrounding forest line and Magikarp leaping out of the water in the adjacent small river. But as I hummed and wondered if I should just try to capture a water-type Pokemon my system pinged out.

I read the names and honestly... Only two of them were people I recognized as I recognized Rias Gremory from the name of Princess of Ruin, and the Thorn Princess was almost certainly supposed to be Yor Briar.

"Hey guys, my name is Jake and welcome to the stream I guess." I spoke out as I looked out out towards the Magikarp in the distance as apparently, the stream was recording my actions slightly in the third person so it could capture my facial reactions to stuff while the stream would play what was happening in front of me.

{Princess of Ruination- Is that a Magikarp? Is this some kind of illusion park or something? No! How is this stream working when my friends cannot see it like an illusion in front of my eyes?"} 

{Idol of Stars- Omg! There's Pokemon everywhere! Is this some kind of new virtual reality thingie?"}

I coughed and then spoke out. "Well... To put simply, I was just reincarnated or to put bluntly isekaied here and well." I raised a hand at the Pokemon and continued wryly. "Well some of you guys recognize these Pokemon but yeahhhhh I got a cheat that allows me to stream my actions outside of my universe and into others and may gain power from doing so I honestly don't know." I finished the quick explanation.

But as I looked around I saw vulpix poke their head out of the forest line and I froze before nodding as a vulpix could be a good starter Pokemon! 

Though as I was walking towards the Vulpix with obvious intent as I heard a ping.

[Princess of Ruination has sent 1 bag of cheetos with a priority message.- Go for a Slowpoke as it has the best stats ;] ]

Looking at the sly winky face I dryly retorted. "Thanks... But no thanks princess I know Slowpoke and this world doesn't run off game logic." But in my distraction of Rias Gremory's words I lost sight of the vulpix making me pout before a loud rustle of grass to the side rang out making me look over in interest while hoping it wasn't a Scissor or another Pokemon that was super territorial.

But it was worse...

My eyes went wide seeing a tall form standing in front of me with my eyes roaming up its primarily white form with green limbs and a red heart sticking out of its chest while the humanoid form had green hair and almost glowing red eyes that stared down at me.

I slowly raised my hands up in surrender as I looked down from the oversized scary looking Gardevoir and didn't make eye contact as I could feel... The sheer psychic power within her form and I had a painful thought. 'Who fucking knows if this Gardevoir is one of the guardians of the surroundings and is working for the Psychic Gym Leader Sabrina.' 

But as I tried to return back to the path... And I just realized that leaving the well established path that trainers followed was probably an absolutely stupid ass reason. I froze, but not of my own volition as my form glowed with purple energy as I felt the Gardevoir glare at me.

{Worst Teacher- Soooo... Is this newb going to die so I can go watch some Digimon?}

But instead a powerful mind brushed against my own and I heard a matronly feminine voice speak directly into my mind. "Go back to the path... Do not leave the path that humanity has carved for your kind." 

I nodded as best as I could but then her voice spoke again with a humm of amusement filling my mind. "You do not have a Pokemon yet? Why not at your age?" She asked with some confusion before shaking her head and a rustle of noise broke through as from beside the tall grass besides the Gardevoir came a much smaller Ralts that was just a foot tall and well hidden in the tall grass beside their matron. 

My eyes widened as one of my Pokeballs in my pocket flew out of my pocket and she inspected it before poking the button in the center to expand it and before I could react she pointed it at obviously her child and then she chuckled as she held the customarily shaking ball after the red laser light absorbed the Pokemon into the ball. "You are very confused I see... But a nascent untapped physic who can block out my active mind reading and fate reading abilities will help my child grow more powerful with a human's aura enhancing her growth."

{Princess of Ruination- Did the mother just capture her own kid for him? I call hacks!? This is obviously prerecorded!?}

But I realized a more pressing thing. She couldn't read my mind and fate due to my normal protections Jake's got that prevented eldritch entities from coming from outside the world to eat said world and their souls before they could grow up. She could read my active thoughts but nothing in depth!

So she rightfully thought I was a psychic and as the ball stopped rumbling I felt a rush of essence fill my body with my form glowing with purple energy and the oversized Gardevoir clapped her hands together with the Pokeball floating over towards me with her motherly voice coming into my mind again. "Very good! Your natural psychic energies will help my daughter grow satisfactorily. But just know my dear, I will be watching my daughter's progress with you." She finished and then with a harsh buzzing noise she vibrated in the air violently before seemingly teleporting away leaving me standing still as my I felt my psychic energy filling my body.

"Fucking psychic pre-cogs..." I cursed as I realized I got played by that damned Gardevoir as she couldn't see me with her divination. But she could see her daughter's future growth should she follow me!

I took the Pokeball and with a buzz of energy my Ralts landed in front of me in the smashed down portion of grass that had gotten ripped away by the elder Gardevoirs teleport and as I took in the foot-tall pokemon I had a simple thought. 'Gardevoir's can literally throw blackholes at people... She is far better than any pidgey or magikarp I could find.'

Now if only the other people in the stream actually spoke up.
