Chapter 37: Tahara Vs Jinx Wyrm

"It's fast!" Tahara said as he managed to dodge Jinx's spear.

With quick reflexes, Tahara went backward as he stared at Jinx.

"Why am I feeling such a fierce energy," Tahara asked himself.

"Upon all the beasts I've faced, this one seems more power," Tahara said.

Sweeper and Keeper!

"You've got good reflexes Tahara Kado," Jinx said as it rushed towards Tahara Kado and punched Tahara but he managed to block the punch with his blade.

"Such tremendous power!" Tahara said as he tried to move his hand.

"My hand feels numb after that punch," he said.

Tahara looked at his blade and noticed that a piece of the blade had been chipped off.

"Just as I thought," Tahara said.

Tahara got up and then raced his swords as he dashed toward Jinx

Tahara's speed immediately increased as Jinx wasn't sure where Tahara was.

Tahara then appeared behind him ready to cut off his neck but Jinx blocked his attack with his spear.

"He can read my movements," Tahara said as he withdrew.

"So you could read my movements," Tahara congratulated Jinx.

"I'm going to enjoy this fight," he said.

Jinx pointed his spear towards Tahara as he also pointed his swords towards Jinx as they both dashed towards one another.

Tahara's swords Sweeper and Keeper were both damaged as well as 3 of his fingers were cut off.

For Jinx, just two of his fingers were cut off.

"Both Sweeper and Keeper are broken, and I've lost 4 fingers on my left hand," Tahara said.

"Nice reaction, Tahara Kado," Jinx applauded him.

"I was aiming for your heart," Jinx told Tahara.

"This time, I'm going to kill you for sure," Jinx said as it raced towards Tahara.

Tahara quickly used his reflexes to dodge Jinx's spear but then he stumbled as the spear scratched his chest and fell to the ground.

Damn it!

"I missed again," Jinx said.

Jinx held its spear upwards as it began to walk slowly toward Tahara.

"I've been forcing not to use my full power and strength yet you are happy about it," Tahara said as he tried to get.

"I'll show you then," Tahara said as he rose.

Tahara then withdrew the Ring of Mordor and then put it on his finger.

"Appear before your king, Oswin, Deaf Baron of Prisons," Tahara called out.

The place where Tahara and Jinx were now turned pitch black as a barrier was placed around them.

Then, prisons began to emerge from the ground as they filled up the whole barrier.

"So this is one of the dark souls techniques, Baron of Prisons," Jinx said.

Oswin was said to be the oldest prisoner in history as he stayed there for 15,623 days and was named the keeper of prisons.

Prisoners began to follow in his footsteps as they called him the ruler, the disciple, the savior, one who leads them to victory.

Soon the prison gates opened and countless prisoners appeared from each of the various prison gates.

Jinx raised his spear as he began to cast magic into the barrier but to his surprise, nothing happened.

"Your magic isn't going to work in here since Oswin has total control over the barrier," Tahara explained.

Jinx then decided to kill all the prisoners that were coming after him but the more he killed them, the more their lives would respawn.

All the prisoners then cast magic at Jinx as his body was cut into pieces.

The barrier inside then collapse as Tahara continued to the upper floor.

Tahara arrived at met up with Haru, Samon, Juba as well as Yui.

"Did he defeat my servant?" Vossler said as he looked up.

"The gate has finally appeared," he said as everyone looked up and saw the gate engorged with flames.

Miyaguchi's flames died down as Vossler released her from his chains.

Tahara tried calling Miyaguchi but there was no response from her.

Kunimichi and Maris also joined up with them as Misa and her group had also been killed.

"That is..." Kunimichi said.

The real gates of hell!

"Keita's technique was the gate of hell but there was no flame on the gate," Kunimichi explained.

"Which means, Miyaguchi wasn't only the key but Keita too," Kunimichi elucidated.

"Does that mean..." Yui asked.

"Keita is dead," Kunimichi announced.

The gate then opened as Low-Rank magic users and swordsmen came out from the gate.

"Why are they so many?" Tahara said.

The gate was still open as Vossler began to laugh applauding himself for completing his mission.

"So this is what is like to be outside?" one of the low-Rank magic users let out.

"Thank you, Vossler," the low-rank magic-user said.

"This is bad," Haru said.

"Worst case is, only low Rank have appeared, no higher rank yet," Yui let out.
