Will find out

After hugging Adiria to his heart's content, the kid released her and she placed him on the bed to sit down and Anyel smiled at her, pleased that she was okay.

A lot of them were confused about what happened and how Adiria managed to fend off the one that was going after him and protect herself as well as the kid but didn't know whether that was the appropriate time to ask or not.

The girl got up from the master's bed and he looked at her then grabbed onto her arm and she glanced at him with her eyes narrowed and he scoffed.

"I wonder why you two can't just get along, I wish you would, you are like the polar opposite of each other," Anyel said.

"Some people are like that, we cannot expect everyone to get along or put up with certain things, though, thank you," She added as she bowed her head to Sorang and he flinched as he looked at her.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Thanking you, you did bring me back here, you didn't leave me out htere unless yu were planning to?" She asked and he chuckled.

"Why would I do that?" He asked as he placed his hand under her chin, raising her head up and the others left staring at them and her brows twitched.

She brushed away his hand then raised up and turned towards the emperor, whom she noticed was looking at her for quite some time and she did not like that for a second.

"Your Highness," She said.

"The one who has been constantly getting involved, you saved my son before right?" He asked.

"Yeah, that would be, I end up getting involved even if I may not want to, my bod and mind seems to be separate," She responded and Sorang wanted to laugh but held back.

"You really don't care who is in front of you, you just talk what comes to your mind, don't you?" He asked and her eyes narrowed as she looked at him.

"It's better than lying, is it not?" She asked and his eyes narrowed as he looked at her and Sorang sighed.

"Maybe, but there is a time and a place for everything, how come you are always involved?" He asked and she sighed.

'I saw this coming, well I don't care what they think anyway,' She thought.

"Hey, are you suspecting me for something here? Why does it feel like I am being interrogated? Are you not thankful that your son is in front of you?" She asked and Anyel as well as the other maids, looked at her, a bit worried and Sorang smirked.

"You..." The emperor mumbled.

"I am lady Anyel's lady in waiting, I take care of almost everything for her, when I am with her, she needs no one else, ask her if you don't believe me, she also asked me to keep an eye on the boy and help protect him, that should answer the questions that may be lingering in your head," She said.

"She is right, I am the reason she keeps getting involved, there is no other," Anyel added as she stood in front of Adiria, who realized that Anyel was trying to protect her.

"Your Highness, she is right, also if there is more to be asked, I will do it, I am her master, after all, she answers to no one but me," Sorang said as he stepped forward.

The emperor glanced at him and Adiria noticed the way he was looking at the emperor, with nothing but seriousness in his eyes and no fear of him.

"Fine, since you two are insisting so much, I will believe you, but I will keep an eye on things from now on as well, thank you, for saving my son, Adiria," The emperor said and she smiled at him as he looked at her.

"You are welcome," She replied.

"Also, tomorrow morning, come and see me in the throne room, alone, there is a few things I would like to speak about, is that okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I will be there," She responded then he took his child and left with lady Anyel and she exhaled deeply before holding onto her chest, which was aching a bit.

"Are you really okay?" Sorang asked and she sighed.

'What's with those eyes? This guy is hard to read and it is usually best for me to avoid people like him, but this one is persistent,' She thought.

"Yeah, I am okay, I will head to my room now, thank you, again," She responded.

"Be careful with where you place your feet from now on, there is a lot more to this tan you can possibly imagine, there is danger at every corner, you cannot trust someone just because they are nice to you, the emperor and all those with power, the more you mix, the more you get entangled, not everything is as it seems, do you understand what I am saying?" He asked.

Adiria left staring at how and how serious he looked, for that was the first time, she saw hm like that, ever since she started working there and she understood everything that he meant.

"Yeah, I understand, I will heed your warning, don't worry," She responded as he glanced back at her.

"Why do you understand everything so fast? There is nothing wrong with being a little immature and let me explain it again you know," He said and she scoffed.

'This guy is dangerous in his own way,' She thought.

"Never going to happen, but there is nothing wrong with dreaming, good night," She replied and he scoffed then she left his room and went to her own.

After returning to her own room, she sighed then went t freshen up and when she was finished, she got dressed and went into her bed, with what happened when she was unconscious, running through her mind.

"What did he mean by all of that? Why am I suddenly gaining these abilities? Why am I changing so suddenly? Is there something I don't know about myself? Whatever it is, starting from now, I will hunt the truth myself," She mumbled, before closing her eyes and a little while, after she fell asleep.

"Sir, the mission failed because of those who got involved," Someone with a cloak repoted to a guy sitting on a throne like chair.

"Eliminate all those who get in your way, including the ones that stopped you today, no one will get in our way and find out more about what happened, I will not tolerate failure," He said as he looked up with a piercing look in his glowing purple eyes.
