After leaving the room, the girl exhaled deeply before glancing back and recalling what the guy asked her and wondered what she had really gotten herself into but decided to face whatever came her way, since she couldn't give up on her goal and realized that something was going on as well.
She sighed as one of the maids approached her and she noticed that the girl was looking at her in a weird way, due to which her brows furrowed, wondering what she was up to and Adiria walked past her.
The girl grabbed her by her arm and she glanced back at her, with her eyes narrowed and the girl turned to look at her.
"Can I help you with something?" She asked.
"Don't let the special treatment get to your head just because you saved her kid, no matter what way you look at it, you are still her servant, don't get too comfortable because you have it slightly better."
"It won't last, after all, you are not in the same league as them, they just use you and throw you aside, so don't act like you are better than the rest of us," She responded.
"Is that so? Well, unlike you guys I don't care about all that crap and mind your tongue, from what I can see, she is a good person, you guys are just annoyed because she is loved more, I don't care about stupid things like you do, that's the difference between myself and a lot of you, let me go or I can't guarantee the safety of your hand," She said as she looked at her.
The girl scoffed and then released her, before walking away and mumbling a few things, all of which Adiria heard and knew that she had gotten mixed up in hot sauce, but to her, it was getting interesting, for life at the palace was quite different indeed.
The girl was about to go look around the palace, when she was summoned by Lady Anyel and she went to meet her in her bed chamber.
"My lady," She said as she bowed her head and the little boy rushed to her, hugging her tightly and Adiria flinched.
"Have some manners, you are going to scare her off," Anyel said and Adiria chuckled.
"Can I lift him up?" She asked and Anyel gave her permission, after which, she lifted the child up in her arms and he smiled brightly.
"Thank you..." He said.
"You are welcome, are you okay?" She asked and he nodded while playing with her hair.
"Seems like he has taken quite the liking to you, that has never happened with anyone before, I guess you are a special case, you always show up to help when trouble is brewing, I really appreciate it," She said.
"There is no need to thank me so many times, I will do what I feel is right, despite what anyone else may say about it," She replied, when she noticed a slightly concerned expression on the woman's face.
'I have a feel she knows someone is after her child, she looks really worried and I see the way she is willing to drag him along wherever she goes, no, that's not right, she doesn't know but suspect? What the hell is going on in this palace and even in these kingdoms?' She thought before lowering her gaze.
"I will do whatever I can, to do my job properly, don't worry so much," She said and the woman's eyes widened then she turned around to look at her.
"I am pleased to hear that, it's going to be night soon, relax and prepare for tomorrow, there will be a lot to do and another thing, master Sorang, you will be attending to him as well," She replied and Adiria's eyes narrowed.
'I have a bad feeling everything I am around him, he is quite hard to read as well, why did it have to be me?' She wondered before exhaling deeply and Anyel chuckled.
"I see, you have gotten the jest that he is the type that is hard to deal with, but don't worry, he is not a bad person, will you do it?" She asked and Adiria lowered her head.
"Sure, I am pretty sure he may not give me a choice either, I will manage, now, have a nice dinner and good evening, my lady,I hope you rest well," She responded as she returned the child.
"Good evening, Adiria," She said then the girl left her room and exhaled deeply.
Later that night, after Adiria went to her room and had finished freshening up, she had dinner and was going to call it a night but the thought of the child being in danger, lingered on her mind, to the point, she couldn't close her eyes and she sighed.
The girl grabbed a piece of paper and began writing a few things on it, in a different handwriting, then she wrapped herself up, including her face, in a black cloth before leaving her room.
She went to the area in the courtyard, where the soldiers were training earlier that day, picked up a brown arrow, which she attached the paper to and grabbed a bow.
The girl went outside of the lady's room and lifted the arrow up in a perfect stance, then shot it directly onto her room door.
'You should know, I don't know what's going on but maybe, you knowing will be better for your kid, you seem like the type that would do anything to protect your family, I guess from tomorrow, my real job, starts, I will find out what happened and I will choose my next path, even if it's one of hell,' She thought then returned to her room, to call it a night.
That night, while she was sleeping, she began hearing the same voice in her head, but this time it was getting a little clearer and the bracelet began glowing as a mark appeared in her chest, shimmering.

"What?" She mumbled in a sleepy tone when she began having dreams of things that she had never seen before and people she never met.
Though only a few of the dreams were clear to her eyes and within one of them, the one that got killed by the blade that she owned, which was once her father's and now one that she wielded, was none other than herself, little did she know that was no ordinary dream.
