Adiria was not expecting that from him, for she thought she had no one to turn to and nowhere to go after losing everything that she once loved and was baffled by his offer.
The girl didn't even know what to say and was at a lost for words, he noticed that and he smiled then approached her and she lowered her gaze as he peeked at her.
Adiria was not only hurting but the fact that someone was willing to be there for her, despite knowing that her being around could put them in danger, yet he was willing to take the risk, made her a little worried.
"Adiria, accept the offer, I don't care about the dangers that comes along with it, since you know nothing of me as yet, I will let you know this, I am one of the best fighters in our family, better than your father," He said and her eyes widened as she looked at him.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yeah, I am part swrd master, I can teach you if you want but first you have to make a decision as to where you will start over? Here and accept my offer or elsewhere?" He asked as she stared at him.
The girl lowered her gaze as a few thoughts ran through her mind about what she wanted to do, which included clearing her father's name and finding out what really happened.
"Fine, I accept your offer, are you sure this won't cause any trouble for you?" She asked and he smiled as he looked at her, then patted her on the head and she flinched a little.
"Relax, even for just a little bit, you have been through enough for the time being, leave the rest to me, don't worry, I won' get into any problem, with the secretive life I have lives, having a daughter won't be hard for anyone to believe," He responded as her eyes glowed for a split second and his eyes narrowed.
"What is it?" She asked and he exhaled deeply.
"Adiria, has anything weird happened to you lately, like physically?" He asked and her brows furrowed as she tilted her head a little to the right.
"Ah, that bracelet as well as this creature and I felt a little shock within my heart a while back, similar to a zing," She responded and he exhaled deeply.
'Is this the start of an awakening? In our family some of them had weird abilities? Is she inherting or is it a combination? Or maybe completely different?' He wondered, looking a bit worried and she approached him.
"Is something wrong?" She asked as she began heard a different sound, one which caused her head to ache a little and he glanced at her as she held onto her head.
"What's wrong?" He asked as she began seeing slightly double.
"Uh... I don't know, I keep hearing weird things as well, guess I am the weird one in the family now..." She mumbled and he placed his hand on her head.
Due to which, she stopped hearing the sounds and her body began feeling completely relaxed and her eyes narrowed as she looked at him and he gently smiled at her.
"What is it?" He asked.
"How did you do that just now?" She asked and he chuckled.
"That's a secret, go in and get some rest, it will be night soon, I will take you shopping tomorrow, that will be the start of your new life here, also I have quite the influence in this area, so please don't mind some people and something you may hear," He responded as he shyly turned away.
'What sort of thing is he talking about? Whatever it is, it must be quite embarassing for him to turn away while talking about it like that?' She thought.
At the same time, she heard a voice call out to her and she turned around as the cold wind brushed against her body and he glanced at her as she stared at the vast mountains areas and field.
'Whose voice was that? I felt it resonate throughout my body as if it was from someone, I know...' She thought as he glanced at her.
"Adiria, go inside and relax, believe me, you need it..." He said as he placed his hand on her shoulder and she flinched before looking back at him.
"Don't worry, I am fine, I am going to rest like you said, something must have impacted my mind, I am sorry, uncle," She replied as she walked away and went inside of the house.
The place her uncle lived in, was not too big but was luxurious in a few ways and seemed to have a lot of stuff containing ancient texts, ones that even she liked to read, for some parts of history had fascinated her.
"I wonder what is going to happen now? What are you going to do? Are you really like your mother or a mixture of them all? No matter what though, I will stand by your side, not just because you are my responsibility but because for the first time in a long time, I genuinely care," He mumbled before turning around and leaving.
The girl went back to the room she came out from and laid back on the bed, looking up at the seiling and all she saw was her father's blade and she gritted her teeth as she felt anger growing within her and she exhaled deeply.
'I don't like feeling this way, I don't like this feeling, it makes me think I am ready to take any step forward, no matter what it may cost me,' She thought before sighing and holding onto the dragon bracelet on her hand.
"Why did this happen in the first place? Why did I have to lose everything that made me who I am?" She mumbled as she closed her eyes, feeling drowsy and within just a few minutes.
Due to how tired her body was, she fell asleep immediately but after doing to, a light began glowing a little within her body, giving off a warm yet striking feeling and she flinched as she began hearing different voices, within her head.
