Moved in

Upon returning home, she noticed that her uncle was not at home and her brows furrowed, wondering where he went so late and she exhaled deeply, when she noticed a letter on the table and she picked it up, since she saw it was addressed to her.

After reading it, she realized that her uncle had to leave for a few days and since it was quite urgent, he didn't get a chance to personally tell her and she completely understood but chuckled, for she knew he was feeling guilty for leaving her behind.

The girl went to the kitchen and collected the dinner he made her to eat and began eating her food, since she was hungry as well as tired, after a long day of dealing with troublesome people.

Later that night, when the girl finished eating her dinner, she went to pack only the necessary couple of things, she needed to take to the palace and decided to come visit her uncle and explain when he got back.

When she was finished, she went to freshen up and since she was tired, the girl plopped into bed and within no time, she fell asleep soundly in her room, with the lights dim and a slightly relaxed look on her face.

That night, while she was sleeping, the bracelet began glowing and a mark appeared on her stomach as part of her hand began glowing and her heart rate increased.

The girl began trembling and she covered herself with her sheet, but little did she know, that was not happening to her because of the cold but instead because of the changes that were taking place in her body, the ones which was triggered, on the night she found out about her father's death.

The mark on her chest began glowing, as she heard a voice within her head, but since she was sound asleep, she paid no attention to any of it.

[S- System, rebooting.....]

A while later, her body went back to normal as well as her bracelet and the next morning, when she woke up, Adiria stretched off then yawned before looking at the time.

"Miss!" Someone shouted and her brows furrowed.

"Who is it so early?" She asked as she got off the bed, wrapped herself in a long and decent robe, then went to open the door, only to see that it was Lady Anyel's men.

"Good morning," They said.

"Good morning..." She mumbled and they smiled as they exchanged glances.

"Seems like you just woke up, it's okay, we can wait until you are finished, there is no rush or anything," One of them said and she sighed.

"Fine, I will do my morning routine then join you guys, come on in, sit in the living room, want anything to eat or drink?" She asked, as they followed her in and then sat down in the living room.

"No, thank you though, we will just wait until you are finished," One responded and she smiled then went to freshen up and so on.

"This is a pretty decent home, seems like she is between poor and rich," The younger one among the two said and the older looked at him.

"You are right, but stop looking around like that, have some manners, she seems like a decent person as well," He replied and the younger scoffed.

After a little while of waiting, Adiria had finally finished and she brought out her bag as well as other necessities and they collected it from her then she grabbed one of the house keys and locked the doors tightly, before leaving in the carriage with the guys.

A while after they left her home, they arrived at the palace and Adiria held onto her stomach since she was quite hungry and didn't get a chance to eat earlier.

"I will take you to see the lady then you can get some breakfast, how about that?" He asked as he fixed his mask and she smiled then nodded.

"Follow me," He said as he walked away with her things and she followed him to the lady's bed chamber.

"Good morning, my lady," Adiria said as she bowed her head and Anyel smiled brightly upon seeing.

"Welcome to your new home, Adiria, I am glad to have you..." She mumbled as her son approached Adiria and the girl looked at him and he smiled at her.

"Seems like he likes you, he is only five years old, but a good kid," She said then Adiria patted him on his head.

"He is cute and I am happy to be here, lady Anyel," She replied as her stomach began hurting a little and her brows furrowed.

"Have you not eaten as yet?" The lady asked and Adiria looked at her.

"No, my lady, it seems as though she didn't get a chance to eat," The one with the mask responded and he glanced at her then nodded and she smiled.

"All right, take her things to her room, you will be assigned to get her anything she needs, is that okay?" She asked and the young man nodded.

Just then, Adiria began feeling a slight pain in her chest and she gritted her teeth then held onto her chest and Anyel glanced at her, with a slightly worried expression.

"Get her something to eat, please," She said and the servants brought a few things to eat then Adiria sat down and she took the food.

"Thank you..." She mumbled and the woman's eyes narrowed as she looked at her and Adiria began eating her breakfast.

'What's wrong with me?' She wondered as she ate, when she began feeling dizzy and her brows furrowed.

A little while after, when the girl finished eating, he thanked them for the food and the lady sighed in relief, seeing that she was okay.

"Use your time on the first day to get familiar with the place and meet the others that are working here as well as the king's trustful man, got it?" She asked and Adiria nodded.

The girl left the lady's bed chamber to go to her own, with the young man and just as she was passing by an area, she saw a bunch of girls, flocking like ants by someone and she noticed it was a guy.

At the same time, he glanced back, their eyes met for a split second, but she didn't care one bit as to who it was and kept on walking and his eyes narrowed as he looked at her.
