Three days later...
**Beep beep beep.**
The rhythmic beeping of a machine filled the room. Veer, a young man with black hair and a fair complexion, lay on a hospital bed.
Slowly, Veer's eyes fluttered open, revealing the stark, white ceiling above. Confusion clouded his thoughts.
"Where am I? Is this a hospital?" Veer pondered.
As he made an attempt to sit up, Veer was taken aback by the fact that his body bore no signs of the wounds that had once marred it. Not a single scratch remained.
"What's going on? How can my wounds be completely healed? I distinctly remember being covered in injuries and burnt skin. And why am I dressed in this white shirt and pants? Who changed my clothes?" Veer marveled, gently touching his now unblemished face.
Upon gingerly rising from the bed, he scanned the room, taking in the sight of a large glass tube and a collection of electronic devices that were utterly foreign to him.
