PRINCESS OF CIRRUS

"My lady, your father is waiting for you at the dining hall." An older woman said as she enters the room after knocking.

"My what?" I said still shocked looking at her.

"Your father, princess." The older lady answered me.

"My father?" I whispered to myself confused. "But my dad died a long time ago, what the heck is going on?" I ask myself.

"My lady, please let them help you get ready. You and the Grand duke have a very important ceremony to attend if you forgot." The older lady said and smile.

"O-okay, chill. Who is my father? Who is the grand duke?" I ask confused and the ladies look at me looking confused. "Sorry, I---I think I'm still half as sleep." I reason as I felt their stare at me become intense. "Sure, let's get ready," I said and went out of bed.

"You seem like you had some fun dream, maybe the lullaby that the grand duke sings to you really makes the nightmare go away." The older lady commented that made me stop and look at her confused.

"Lullaby?" I ask with a confused smile.

She smiled and I quickly turn around to look at the huge mirror the sight of myself made my jaw drop.

"I'm small, what in the world happens and is happening…"

I was so confused and amaze at the same time as we were walking to this huge mansion that is shining sorts of gems everywhere.

"Princess, does your foot hurt already? Should I carry you?" A man in a black warrior outfit said as he looks down at me.

He looks like a giant to me, why am I so small? They keep saying that I'm just four years old!

"S-sure," I answered and he smiled and pick me up and put me in his arms as we walk towards the huge door. "What Is my father like?" I ask him and he chuckled.

"You know him best than I do Princess, he is different to you and to others." The man said.

"My name is Serene of Cirrus right and your name is…" I said trying to get his name without making him feel weird about me.

"Rocco…Did our princess forget my name?" He said and acted sad.

"No, of course not!" I said and smile and huge wrap my hand around his neck hugging him.

"Princess Serene has arrived, Grand Duke." The man on the door announced.

"Greetings your royal highness Duke Phantom of Cirrus," Rocco said as he stops and bow his head a little which made my eyes widen and even nearly fall out.

"Phantom Cirrus is my father?!" I shouted in shock which made everyone shocked. "What the!"

"Did you realize your mistake now?" Phantom Cirrus or should I say 'my father' ask me as I stood facing the wall as tears fall on my cheeks.

"Y-yes," I answered.

No! I don't understand any shits happening! How did I get here?! And why on earth the Grand duke of the story I was just reading suddenly became my father?

I wanted to shout all those thoughts that are inside my head but if this is really happening, I don't want to be sent to a mental facility. I heard a footstep coming closer to my back as I wipe my tears.

"Serene, my dearest moon looks at me." He said and I slowly turn around to face him. "Why are you crying?" he asks holding my little hand which made me cry even more!

Why am I so small?!

"Serene?" My father said.

"I'm confused, I don't know what's happening…" I said and cry even more.

I felt a warm feeling suddenly embrace, it feel so familiar I felt like I had experienced this before but it's like it's been a while since that happens. I feel so safe, I slowly open my eyes which are full of tears when I realize where is this warm feeling coming from.

It's from Phantom, the person that they're saying is my father, he is embracing me.

It's been a long time since I felt this warm, it was when I was 13 before I went on a school trip, my father drops me to school and give a very tight and loving hugs just before we part with each other but that's also the last time I saw him and felt his embrace.

Because as I got home from that school trip with my own eyes, I saw him die with my own eyes and I could do anything.

"Daddy…Dad, I miss you so much…"

Third Person POV

"Your highness, you called for me." The older lady that Serene meets earlier said toward the grand duke

"Did something happen to my daughter while I was away attending a royal meaning yesterday for her to act like that earlier?" The grand duke asks.

"The maid said that the princess has been acting a little bit different as soon as she woke up like she…doesn't know who she is. But maybe she is just playing around sir, the princess is still young and has a very wide imagination." The butler answered the duke.

"I see, I will not be attending any of the meetings I have tomorrow." The duke said standing up from his sit and walking towards the huge bed inside his room where a little girl is sleeping peacefully while hugging a huge pillow.

"Yes, your royal highness."

Serene of Cirrus POV

"Wow! This is richness!" I uttered in amusement as was on the huge hall of this castle or palace, whatever they call this place. "I will be a billionaire even just having one of those diamonds!" I shouted looking at the gems everywhere.

"Those belong to you Princess," The maid following answered smiling, her name is Ann if I remember that correctly.

There are a lot of servants in this place, everywhere you look you will see them, and even guards that carry swords like they will go to war any minute.

"Oh, this is pretty, but I'm tired already," I said breathing heavily as I look in the direction I'm heading.

'Why do I feel like I walk a hundred kilometers just to get to the dining hall of this place?!'

"Can I help you, princess? I can carry you to the dining Hall." Ann offered as he bends down smiling toward me as she opens her arms.

"Okay," I said and smiled.

Sorry Ann, but I can't say no to this. I feel like I would die if I really insist on walking toward that place with my short legs.

The man on the door announces my arrival and as soon as the door opened, I quickly saw my father sitting on the podium of the long table and looking in my direction with a slight smile.

I always imagine the character in the books as I read a stunning fictional being, but I never thought they were this gorgeous! I

"Dad!" I said opening my arms as we walk towards him and she stood up to take me from Ann.

Let's be a sweet loving daughter to make up for all the weirdness I did and how I acted yesterday.

"Are you ready to meet the Royal Prince?" My father asks smiling.

Prince? What is she saying? Do I have a brother?

"Pwince?" I said as I tried to roll my 'r' but failed, even though I can speak and communicate clearly at my age in this life it's still hard to pronounce some words sometimes.

"Yes, we will be attending a banquet at the Capital my dearest moon. You will meet people there and meet the Prince of Miracus." my father said as we sat o in front of the dining table as I sat on his lap.

Prince of Miracus? Who? Did I not get to ready that part of the story before I died? Whose prince if he talking about?

"The Royal Prince of Miracus, Prince Maxwell."
