Chapter 9.

It has been a month and two weeks since I transmigrated to the Tales of Demons and Gods world.

In the last two weeks, I have earned a total of two hundred and sixty points. That is a large number of points that I now have at my disposal, with just that amount I could create twenty-six new Legend Rank Demon Spiritualists.

After my first week, I decided that I could try and announce another special deal and try to see if I was interested in any of the people that participated.

I arrived at the same position as last time and was prepared for anything, but even I couldn't anticipate that almost half of Glory City decided to participate which is a total of five million people.

Compared to last time when only barely a few ten thousand people participated. I think that such a result is not only because my store is more accessible but also because I included the cultivation realm of Xiao Ning'er. I also added a feature that tracks the advancement of Xiao Ning'er and when at the start of the week she was only at the peak of Silver Rank now she has already reached the 3rd stage of Gold Rank.

One of the things that surprised me is that I think that Xiao Ning'er was jealous when I announced that I will be selecting another Slave.

After having these little thoughts in my head I finally checked if my Store sees anybody that I would find interesting, previously I didn't lie to Ning'er when I told her that I selected her because of her destiny as my store has the ability to analyze anybody that agrees to the deal, now that ability has advanced and even allows it to slightly analyze anybody in the Store, in general, this is thanks to the Essence of Blank breaking the limit, sure it isn't as strong as those who agree to my special deal but the analysis is becoming better every day.

As I looked over the list that my Store provided me I started laughing right there on top of the podium, in front of millions not caring that everybody could see me.

Laughed for a few seconds before calming down and addressing the crowd.

"Ha, my apologies everybody I just found something extremely funny. Anyway the selection will follow the last time's rules as the winner or in this case the winners have been selected, the rest of you can stay and try to work out a deal with the Store if you wish to gain employment."

After finishing my extremely short speech I appeared in my new throne room.

I appeared already sitting on my throne. I use the word throne loosely as it is more like a comfortable bed that looks similar to a chair.

I wasn't the only thing on the chair as I had appeared in the lap of Ning'er who was the one who actually used the chair like a chair while I myself was lying on her lap and the rest of the bed chair.

It was actually quite comfortable I wasn't trying to give anybody some kind of special atmosphere about myself, but I still wanted a throne room so in the end I ended up with something like this.

Oh yeah, I was also being fed various fruits with one hand while her other massaged my head.

After getting comfortable I finally summoned the 'lucky' winners that sold their existence for a mere 10 points. Sure for most of the schmucks of Glory City, it was a great deal but I wouldn't ever pick someone that wasn't profitable or interesting enough to be added to my collection.

This time I caught two big fish and two small fish but ones that I would like to add to my collection.

In front of me stood Nie LI the protagonist, Ye Ziyun the female lead, Shen Xiu and Huyan Lanruo. The last two were only selected because they were beautiful and nothing else.

I had already transferred the ten points necessary to complete the deal. I had already previously stated that anybody that accepts to participate in the special deal has already agreed to their side of the deal and I only need to transfer ten points to them for me to gain ownership of them.

So I found it extremely funny that I had captured the World's protagonist with 10 measly points just by remembering it had me chuckle a little.

"Welcome my new Slaves, I will enjoy your company in the future."

Nie Li acted outraged, but that didn't matter as he was already mine, and his personality would start to slowly change to place me above anybody else.

"Why do you think that we would just accept being your slaves quickly release us and stop going against the demon spiritualist code of conduct. How can you even run a Slave Market in the middle of Glory City have you no shame?"

"Stop trying to struggle Nie Li you have already lost and there is no way for you to weasel your way out of this one. As soon as any of you accepted the invitation to participate in the special deal you had already agreed to your side of the deal, all I had to do is give you the ten points agreed upon and you were mine to do as I please."

"Even now you should already feel your thoughts changing to view me as your Owner and Master."

Nie Li gnashed his teeth.

'He's right even now I have started to view him in a different light and even the thought of harming him is becoming harder and harder to have. I have never heard of such a dangerous technique just who is he.'

"You know what I find even funnier is that you Nie Li and the girl that even now you are trying to protect are not worth the ten points that I spent on you. Each of you has an extremely strong destiny infront of you and each would bring you far above what this measly Glory City would allow. And it only cost me ten points that I can regain in not even a full day, all that potential and destiny is now under my command. Don't the two of you find it funny?"

They didn't look too happy about their circumstances Shen Xiu and Huyan Lanruo looked like they still couldn't fully understand their situation, but that didn't matter the only reason why I bought them was due to their beauty.

"Ye Ziyun you don't have to be so sad at least now you could be with your former friend forever and ever working together to bring me the most pleasure you can."

"Anyway I recommend that the women in your group don't use your points immediately but try to negotiate a deal with Ninger here as she has bought the complete technique of Love God for herself. And if your negotiation ability is great enough you could buy it from her for only a few points."

"Anyway, I am off. Be sure to use your points after all you did earn them. Hehehe."

And with those parting words I disappeared from the throne room.

'Damm I really did get into the Villain roleplay there but that's whatever they should be happy to bring me happiness in any form possible after all they are my property and slaves.'

It's really terrifying how fast power could twist a person not even two months ago I was your average Joe on planet Earth. My only notable trait was my above average self-awareness, I would also like to say that my enjoyment of anime, manga, and novels was also unique, but even that has become commonplace over the Covid pandemic.

I would like to say that if me from Earth saw how far I have succumbed even owning slaves with no moral dilemmas he would be disappointed but I knew myself and know that me from earth wouldn't blame the current me because he would also easily succumb to the lure of power.

I only said that I had above average self-awareness not an unbreakable willpower. If I wasn't biologically six years old, I would have already lost my virginity.

Anyway, no use getting lost in moral questions.

Over the last two weeks my cultivation has not actually advance as fast as you would think with me only reaching the peak of the second stage of Qi condensation and that too only due to me using the AI Chip to have the technique optimized for my body type thus allowing me to cultivate like a master cultivator who is already experienced in cultivation and is only trying to recultivate.

I also had the help of my cultivation chamber that allowed me to cultivate in a Qi saturated environment. If I didn't have that it would have taken me months to cultivate to such a level.

After I reached the first level of Qi cultivation my memory increased by an extremely large amount and the technique promised me that if I reach the fourth level of Qi Condensation, I would gain a Spiritual Sense and it would grant me a perfect memory that would allow me to remember everything.

I had also gained some strange new abilities after progressing in my cultivation. The first of them was my almost impeccable sense of time as I could determine what time of day it was just by thinking about it and everything that had anything to with time, I was just able to do it better I was like a natural born clock.

My Qi was also special giving it the properties of vitality, healing and growth. Even while I had just reached the second stage of Qi Condensation my lifespan has already reached a hundred and twenty years of life.

The average lifespan for any Qi condensation cultivator is only a hundred years and those that cultivate special techniques could reach a hundred and twenty years after reaching stage 9 of Qi Contestation.

Oh yeah, my ability to perceive my lifespan was granted to me by unique cultivation technique as normally you would need a higher stage of cultivation to tell your maximum lifespan but with my unique technique, I could tell any body's natural lifespan just by looking at them.

I was actually shocked how weak the cultivation system that I had chosen was and how utterly slow it was if I had focused on the TDG system I would have already reached Gold Rank by now if I put in my full effort. I would be fine if the system allowed me to fight Gold Ranks on equal footing while in the Qi Condensation stage but it didn't and I wasn't much stronger than a Bronze Rank cultivator.

Sure, the system granted me various cool abilities and its potential was probably higher than TDG system but it was still slightly discouraging to have such a slow advancement.

Why do I say the systems potential is high?

It's because of one of the abilities that those who breakthrough to Core Formation gain. The ability I am talking about is them no longer needing the support of the Heaven and Earth QI to have their strength as their Core would generate Qi out of nothing even in a place that is completely devoid of it and this ability would increase with each new breakthrough. As far as I know all TDG cultivators rely on the world and the energy it provides them but if they are disconnected from it they will lose all their strength.

Anyway, I won't just give up if I truly didn't like it I would quite or possibly choose a different system, but I like it so I won't for the time being.

But that is only my progression in cultivation as I have progressed in other aspects. The one that I am probably most exited about is the progress of my AI Chip it has been constantly analyzing everything that it can get its hands on and with the combination of Essence of Blank its computing and scanning capabilities have been increasing every day.

It has finally been able to create a cultivation technique that can reach the peak of Emperor in TDG system it unfortunately doesn't have the capability to create a Supreme level technique just yet.

I decided since I don't really know what to do with my points, I will use some of them to help my Ai Chip.

The first usage of my points was to buy an ability inspired by Tattletale from the WORM web serial. Tattletale has the ability of enhanced intuition allowing her to extrapolate an incredible amount of information from the smallest piece of data. In practice it allowed her to crack passwords, make predictions about the most likely outcome of a situation. And possibly the most insane ability was to almost read another person's mind just by looking at them and reading their body language and mannerisms.

Of course, I won't actually but the ability that Tattletale had as that would mean having a space whale attached to my brain and would probably be more expensive than just buying the ability to work innately for me.

Combined with the AI Chips calculating ability and the Enhanced Intuition the AI Chip would be able to calculate things at a faster speed and possibly make leaps of logic that make no sense.

I didn't truly add this ability to my AI Chip I actually bought it for myself but I can allow my Ai Chip to use it with no drawbacks.

Surprising it didn't cost as much as you would expect and only cost me 20 points to get the full ability.

After that I didn't really have a plan of where to place my points so I just used all of them for Enhanced Learning it is nothing special and does as it say by just enhancing my learning speed into supernatural levels.

It didn't actually increase my intelligence and only increased the speed at which I learned things. Just by looking another person preform martial arts I could learn them instantly it functioned exactly like a Sharingan just without the need to active my eyes as it was always active but that is to be expected as I had placed an entire two hundred points into the ability.

I didn't yet want to increase my intellect as that would probably change me as a person and I still wanted to live like a dumb person for a little while longer and not have to worry about things that people with extreme intellect worry about.
