The days following the battle with the Lich King were filled with both mourning and rebuilding. The village of Valoran had survived, but not without cost. James stood with "Sasha" and "Yori" near the market square, watching as the final stones were placed on the monument dedicated to the fallen. It was a simple structure, but it stood tall and proud, a reminder of the lives lost and the strength they had shown.
"The kingdom looks so different," Sasha said quietly, her hand resting on the swell of her belly. She was nearing the end of her pregnancy, and the anticipation of motherhood was beginning to replace the exhaustion of battle.
