Chapter 6

Millie worked the bar for hours serving drinks patiently waiting for Kai to come as he usually did but at the end of the night he didn't show up.

Millie walked back home thinking of what could have been wrong she wondered if it was work that was keeping him and he might probably show up anytime soon. She was willing to wait until she could see him.

Over two weeks passed Millie had continued to live her normal life she hardly even thinks about what had happened, she went from school to the restaurant and then the bar and she goes home to get a night rest and sometimes she chats with Sofia who was halfway through her career as an author.
