"I am not a girl," she retorted, rolling her eyes at his remark.
"Then what are you, if you are not a girl? A man?"
"Stop joking around. We are in a dire situation here. We do not know how to get out of here," she cautioned him, but the smile in her eyes told him she wasn't been angry or anything.
If there was anything, she felt happy they were still together. "Speaking of which, where is here by the way? Everything looks strange."
She managed to turn in her kneeling position, looking for any possible clue as to where they were. When she couldn't fathom it, she returned her gaze back to his expectantly.
"Don't look at me like that! I do not know and cannot say for sure. Besides, I was knocked out before we left our camping ground."
As soon as he said those last words, his eyes darkened and he peered deep into hers.
