Subsequent Fall Part 67: Savior

Jaimie held her shield on his foot as Titan pressed down. The ground crumpled around them as the twins clutched each other tighter. She knew there was no safe place for the two of them. "INDY ON THIS MARK, REMEMBER IT!" Jaimie placed down a marker as Titan grinned.

"So you came to your senses. What a surprise!" Titan threw a hook at Jaimie as she blocked it with perfect form. The complete perfection of form showed Titan a smile as he backed up from the Twins. "I will respect the two and keep them safe. You have to beat me or I will ruin them." 

Jaimie stood still as she took one step forward over the twins as she walked forward to take down Titan, she looked at him as she felt the perfection felt great as the energy flowed through her. All it felt like it was another day of great training. It has to be now or never.

Titan threw his fist at her temple as she slid her arm upwards and felt the arm slide off her gauntlet as she readied for the next blow. A hook from his right, parried with her shield on her left as she felt like the speed of his actions was slower than hers.

Titan threw another hard jab with his left as Jaimie dodged it by sliding inside of the attack, throwing a counter punch with her right as he slid back from the attack. Titan rolled his head and cracked his neck as it was time. "Prove to me you are a bigger challenge than the nerd." He charged back in as the spear from her back slid down.

A fire lit inside of her eyes as her breathing was enhanced past the normal limits. A whistle was heard as she inhaled across the planet. Titan came in with a giant steel beam as he swung it down on her from above. Her spear touched it as it turned to a molten mush. Throwing her shield through the melted metal it bounced into Titan as it shattered his ribs.

He felt the impact of it as the shield bounced away. Slamming the molten metal downward creating a wall behind Jaimie so she had no retreat. She looked at him with no emotion on her face as he looked at her and spoke. "Die." With a snap of his fingers the spell was triggered but knocked off course by her shield as she resumed position holding her shield high. Resting the spear on it.

Titan scoffed as he held up his left hand. Small spheres of light formed all around Jaimie as they started slamming into the ground. She evaded them without effort as she appeared behind Titan, flicking her spear upwards she burned the side of his body without the glove as he pointed his left arm at her. "Binding chains!" Magical steel came from the ground and started to surround Jaimie as Titan healed from his burn wound slower than a normal wound.

Jaimie saw how each chain reacted, and realized it was like a snake. Each leading link was its head, the movements from her spear flowed like the ocean's current. Each slash took down a new link of the chain as it barraged against her and around her. The chains stopped as she felt her foot get clamped down.

Titan rushed in wielding the supernova sword as he slashed downwards at Jaimie as she blocked it with her shield. The blade glided down her shield as Titan touched the shield. "Transmutate!" As his hand rested on the shield Jaimie batted it away, however the damage was done as it turned to lead, losing the golden luster as Titan pointed his right hand in a finger gun, shooting it with a small burst of light as it shattered.

Jaimie shattered the shackle holding her down with her foot as she took a half a step back. Titan came rushing in once more as he sliced down another time. Being blocked by the back end of the spear. Jaimie rotated her spear as she had the window to sear his arm. The tip of the spear pointed at his left shoulder as she slammed it forward. A small beam of plasma ignited from the tip of her spear and burned a hole through his body and the planet.

He sent a jab with his right arm as she blocked it with her left, the power from the collision created a shockwave that shattered the glass across all the nearby buildings. Titan saw the glass falling in slow motion as he bent his left arm at the elbow. "Target." He pointed at her with a singular finger as all the glass homed in at her spot at the speed of light.

She moved out of the way as she drew a small circle in the air with the tip of her spear. Thrusting it forward as another beam of plasma was fired and collided with Titan's barrier spell. It melted around the barrier as he smiled. She was the one trained by him personally. For much longer than the others, she was the best fight to have. It made sense in his head as she stood still in her armor.

The necklace dangled from her neck as she felt her ring radiatate with a special type of energy, one she hadn't felt ever. It was a whisper of what to do and how to see through his attacks as Titan rushed in again filled with rage, his speed unmatched. Each punch thrown by him was redirected with her left arm and hand as she felt the callouts and saw what was going to happen before he even knew.

But this was the lull that Titan wanted her in, so obsessed with the physical side of the battle she could forget about the mental side and gain access to her mind to find something and anything, but when he tried searching, nothing was there. He flicked his left wrist to have his hand face the sky as icicles formed. Crashing down but melting into mist from Jaimie's radiating heat.

The mist filled the battlefield as Jaimie heard all the movements Titan made to attack her. He went for a sweep to her legs as she hopped up and hovered in the air for a split moment with her wings as Titan looked at the mist and turned the area to one frozen block.

Jaimie stood on top of the frozen block as Titan looked at her. "The level of ability it takes to surpass magic without any is amazing. You should feel proud from your craft." Jaimie didn't listen as she slid across the ice. Her spear was pointed at his neck as he deflected it, like she wanted.

Putting all of her power in one motion, fluid and flawless she spun one time and hit Titan on his right side downward through the ice block as it melted into mist once more with Jaimie hovering in air. The heat from her as she descended put a fog on the entire city from the amount of water and condensation.
