Subsequent Fall Part 61: Callbacks

Adam slid his mask from his shoulder to his face as it clung to it. He looked at the ashy air around him as Lucky, Ally and Pollen were fading away, he looked down to his notebook and saw what he needed. "KAYLA, NOW!" Adam grabbed the first page as it was a kitchen sink, summoning it into reality he smashed it across Titan who moved back from the attack as Adam's speed was much faster than his now.

An Astral and Jaimie hologram appeared as Adam threw out their drawings of them he had. Adam ran all across the room as he watched and waited with the holograms. Titan smiled. "Your mask may make you faster, but that sacrifice on defense? Is it worth it?" A vine whip took off his right arm as Titan swung his body around the room.

"Now that's more like it from the third in command." Titan grew back his arm and closed the gap, throwing a full slate of punches from every angle, each one blocked by the drawings and Adam himself. He grabbed the next piece of paper as he hopped over Titan as the drawings grabbed his arms.

"I wouldn't be able to take one hit anyways." Adam held the giant hammer above them as he pressed the button on the hammer. Swinging through Titan sending him into the wall as the drawings stood next to him in a defensive position. Hail started to come from the ceiling as Adam pulled out a new drawing.

Titan charged at the three as he summoned light gunigers. Stabbing the holo drawings of Jaimie and Astral as they stayed frozen in place. Holding a third above Adam's body as Adam's hand extended, the fingers wide open as the ball of energy was released. The supernova hit Titan point blank as it dug a hole through his chest as Adampulled another page from the book at his waist and tied Titan down with light restraints as he repositioned.

Titan chuckled as each and every binding snapped as he stood. "Someone is doing far better than the expectations." A volley of magic missiles appeared from Titan's back as Adam ripped off a new page. Slamming it on the ground, a shield appeared around him as each magic missile imploded on it. Dudding out and falling to the ground as he gave Shiro a handful of papers that needed to be sent to the ground.

Shiro grabbed them and vanished as Titan tried to grab her. Adam caught him by his foot and flipped him over onto his back as he threw down another piece of paper, spikes came up from the ground and impaled him as sparks started to shoot out of them. Titan climbed out as he was met with several lightspeed bullets from Adam's handguns.

Titan had more holes than he could count as he stood and healed them. Adam fired a volley of three arrows from the bow at max pull as they stuck into Titan. Adam closed the gap with his first sword from his hip and cut Titan's chest open as he tried to retaliate with the sun blade. But Adam's speed was too much for him without doing a reversal trick.

Titan really wanted to drain the last bit of hope from him however before he used this trick and killed him, even if he bought time for his friends it would not be enough to save them, if the planet falls they will. 'Let him use all of his tricks then, and only then.' Titan backed up as his sun blade was blocking Adam's attack. "Once you are out of tricks I will rip your skull out and carry it to the planet!"

Adam and Kayla were disturbed by the turn of events as Adam saw what he had left in his notebook, more than enough time right? 'Rely more on the equipment you have rather than your drawings.' Kayla spoke as Adam realized she was right. Backing up Titan charged at him. Blocking him was not the problem but breaking through was. A serpent was summoned as it tried to strike down on him. Blocking it with the hardlight shield as Titan tried to land a jab.

Adam flipped backwards over the snake as he hovered above it. Holding a chair in his hand as he smashed it over Titan while he hovered in the air over the man. Adam heard thunder as storm clouds formed above him. Lighting struck him as he was just the channel for it. Firing his teather into Titan's chest as both of them felt the electrical current. Titan grabbed the line and pulled him into the ground as Adam rolled forward and launched a punch, sending Titan into the wall once more as it turned to cotton to absorb the impact and lessen the damage to him.

"You were very talented with the ideas you come up with and the unique ways of using them. I assume the furniture is old models you and Astral came up with?" Titan spoke as a table slammed into him. Sliding back several feet as Adam reloaded his pistols in the meantime.

"You are correct. And if I do this all day long, you can see as much as you want. All I can do is stall for Astral." Adam pressed a button on his wrist as pods opened up across his back. Launching several thousand missiles at Titan as he detonated each one in a single swipe of his hand. 

"Your tech is as advanced as his, but more raw, I suppose thats the difference of age and experience. One of you has had trillions of years to perfect their craft, and the other. Is using furniture to attack a godly being." Titan caught the couch without moving, the power behind it shattered the couch as it detonated into a fireball. Catching the shattered arm on fire as Adam chuckled.

"I'd hope he has perfected his craft, yet to me, it still looks like he is infinitely improving." Adam looked at his notebook as he still had plenty of weapons as Titan shifted into a more serious mode. His arm snapped back into place as he fired lasers from his eyes. Adam vanished as Titan laughed. "I still see you despite the invisible tech.

Adam swung the guniger down hard, cleaving Titans right shoulder directly off. "No matter how many times you cut me, dismember me. Or attempt to destroy me. I will come back. Always." Titan grabbed his arm as it fell. Smacking Adam with it as he blocked it with a summoned shield. Slowing his impact with the wall with his wings as he looked up. Titan was right there.

Kayla triggered the jump boots to max as Adam leaped off the wall and drove the two of them across the arena into the opposing wall as Adam retreated several paces away from Titan who had no choice but to amplify himself. Muttering an incantation as Adam threw a piece of tape that covered his mouth. Stopping the incantation.

Titan was infuriated at the fact that this kid can keep coming up with clever ways to work around him. Firing the lasers again as Adam dodged all around the arena to avoid them. Summoning two whips as he started lashing Titan.
