Astral's Rise Part 65: Jaimie vs Achilles

Achilles charged in sending a punch at her temple, he needed to test the waters and see how skilled she was, this temple strike was to determine the rest of the battle and any future attacks.

Jaimie batted it away with the back of her hand, the gauntlet on her arm ringing as his punch slid off of the armor. She sent a light tap with her right arm into his shoulder. Clinking as it connected. Jaimie saw what Achilles was talking about, he was steel.

She took two steps and awaited whatever he was to throw at him. In a state of confusion Achilles sent a slamming kick to her side as she would just pass it along with his own momentum.

"Oh this is child's play." Jaimie wrapped him up with one arm and with the other grabbed his manhood. "Give these a tug when you want to be a man." She began to squeeze as she took an elbow to the head. Stepping backward her right ear was ringing.

His twin colored eyes looked down at her as if to set a fire through her. "No more playtime you bitch." He wasn't the only one holding back as he made his way right next to her and sending a punch straight to her stomach. She slid back standing as her armor took the hit well.

"Aww, the crybaby is mad." Jaimie taunted as Achilles threw another five punches that Jaimie parried each one of them following up his attacks with a backhanded slap sending him across the arena. "Not the good tingles." Jaimie shook her hand loose after colliding with his skull.

He managed to stand back up after the blow. Spitting out a puddle of blood he looked at her in anger. He seemingly shrunk down to her size and was faster. Connecting on three kicks to Jaimie's right side.

Successfully blocking them from doing any real damage she slid left from the force. 'He had a limiter on with his height, what a way to hide your power.' He charged at her as she rolled over his back, just to mess with him. There was no chance for him to win, it was just time to show off to Astral.

Achilles charged in at the same height as Jaimie, sending her backwards with a drop kick. Landing on his hands to keep the intensity as he flipped up to send another punch directly into Jaimie's skull with the intent of caving it in.

Jaimie caught this attack and would pull him in. Sending a strong punch to his right eye socket as the contact popped out. Jaimie sent a left jab into his gut, sending him into the staircase once again, as he looked up his blue eye looked cyan.

"Wait, that doesn't add up, he had color contacts in?" Jaimie looked over to Astral who nodded, holding the contact using his psychic powers in front of her.

"Remember their entire society revolves around eye color. He had to be an outcast at some point, cyan eyes are equal to death." Astral rattled off as Achilles' anger turned to fear. He charged in and punched Jaimie straight in the chest, sending her into the doorway.

Jaimie stood up and brushed herself off as Achilles charged in sending a barrage of punches faster than before. Each one narrowly missed Jaimie as she swayed between each one with speed and precision. She waited and took a pop at his left eye. Knocking out another contact.

Jaimie caught this one out of the air, passing it to Astral before looking back at her opponent as the eye turned gold from its previous yellow color. "You think they would have checked for this stuff before electing him leader." Achilles threw his hardest punch possible as it bounced off of the armor on Jaimie's chest.

"Nice try sweetie but next time learn before you attack." Jaimie had his hand grasped, squeezing down she snapped his wrist before flinging him with one arm back to his throne. "It could be funnier to out him as a fake, but he earned the throne in their eyes." Jaimie had a sleek and hidden smile as Achilles looked up to the ceiling.

'I failed, I failed myself, I failed the others before me, I failed the others after me, but I am failing myself by not trying to finish the fight till I die.' Achilles got up, snapping his wrist back into place. "Heh, a rotten bitch like you still couldn't win." Astral's eyes flared alive in anger as Jaimie just tilted her head.

"I mean, I still will win, the difference is how long you last, why does this feel like it has just begun?" She asked as he came back at her, sending a mix of punches and kicks as fast as Achilles could muster. Jaimie would tap each one of his attacks away with one of her fingers, making herself look like a composer as she waved her arms violently back and forth blocking his attacks.

It felt like he hadn't hit his ceiling yet. His form was refining in front of her eyes as Astral paid close attention. It seemed like everything around them was shifting, if the time to strike was now, why didn't it happen. He rested the children on each other as he loosened his shoulders.

Jaimie sent him flying backwards into the wall as he managed to reinvent himself to land on the wall before jumping at her. He dived right into her sending both of them into the ground with a thud that shook the city. Jaimie grabbed him with one hand and tossed him off of her as she rolled up. Still springy and elastic like normal she waited for the next move.

Achilles threw a metal card at the ceiling, a chandelier fell as Jaimie caught it with one hand, tossing it to the side. "Those things aren't cheap." She admired the golden design on it as Achilles tried to kick her skull. She caught it with her left hand before spinning him around like a ballerina doll.

Jaimie pushed him back as he had another metal card jettison from his cloak into her armor. She didn't find this amusing as she sent him into the wall by grabbing the collar of his shirt and throwing him like an oversized doll.

"Playtime is over, give up now." She spoke down to him as she hovered over him.
