Advent of Astral Part 20: Spa Day

The last planet he would visit was a tropical planet, one to die for, white sandy beaches, clear skies, and crystal clear waters. This trip was different however. He Brought along Anders with him using one of his first space shuttles.

He was happy and relaxed here, finding it as his perfect resting destination whenever he would be traveling. Enjoying long soaks in the cool and crisp water of the ocean, while dipping himself into the bubbling hot springs. Allowing for the best recovery for his body.

The extreme biodiversity would show them what their exploring allowed. With this they would spend several visits to this planet as Astral kept honing himself to the best he possibly could be.

One of the nights on the planet. The two would be mapping out the stars and seeing where everything was in the relation of this planet comparatively.

With a curious tone. Anders would ask her partner. "When the universe moves, do the planets all shift equally or is it different?" She would be pointing at spots where everything has shifted on their star map.

"Well. That I have no certainty on. But as with every gravitational field. It moves and fluctuates with each passing second." He would state. "With the constant energy and movement it is indefinite."

"You can predict where something will be. But you can't be certain where it is." Astral would show his numbers that he used to get to mars the last time. "The time before that it was guesswork and an approximation. A pull into the direction of faith."

"In other words, you are using a highly educated guess and just believing in yourself that it is right?" Anders having a curious tone as Astral's head bobbed up and down in agreeance. Smiling as the two of them walked over to the beach to relax in their chairs.

"In fact, it is more of a fact that I am going off feeling when I try to use the pocket dimension in a way to fast travel." He would slump into the chair and take a drink of water. "In fact. I focused on you when I went back to earth, making it easier when I feel a pull of attraction."

"You have a gut feeling for those who are close to you?" Anders spoke to him. Sitting in the chair next to him as he would take another sip of water.

"Yeah. I have these really strong gut senses. It's allowed me to tell whether a situation or a person will be good or bad. Now, it hasn't been wrong yet. But there are plenty of times where it hasn't even worked or gone off." He would explain the feeling he had from it.

"So its more of a psychological analysis of the situation and making an inference from it? Basic psychology and yet the tactic of none, feelings are the most powerful ting that exists." She would reach over and hold his hand.

"Which is why when shows use the cliche of the power of love, they are half right. People will do anything to save those that they love." Anders would slowly relax as more of the stars would shine.

Astral would finish the statement. "Its all about triggering the adrenaline response from your body, thats what is chemically happening from start to finish. Yet I feel like its under-appreciated. The body does not ever use all of its strength, otherwise it would have to evolve to use it all."

"The bones aren't dense enough and the muscles would crush them if they went all out." He would pull up his latest round of testing. All his physical attributes were insane.

"Okay, its bedtime and meditation time. Enjoy the sounds of the ocean." She would stretch back as the chair slowly laid out for her. "Have a good time." She would close her eyes as he gripped her hand lightly before heading out to a rock a little offshore.

Peacefully sitting down he would breathe. All that was heard was the caw's from birds flying around. The waves flowing and crashing around him. The smell of salt all around him. Deep inside him there was nothing stirring.

He would breathe in and out. Enjoying the breeze gently pushing on him. The breeze was soothing to his skin. Opening his eyes he would see the trees waving in the distance. The flowing waves made him smile as he would slowly walk back to the beach to rest for the night.

Daybreak would come as he slept soundly next to Anders gazing to the sky as the clouds were yet to form. He would go into the woods and immediately start on gathering the local fruits for the two of them to eat for their breakfast.

While doing so, he would come across a small strange creature that would start to stalk him. He would offer it a berry and it would hop in glee. Its wings are too small for it to fly, and yet its large bunny-like ears would flop around happily.

"What an adorable little creature." Astral would wave to it and have it come to the beach with him. As he lured it over with food he would gather more things for the two of them to eat. Happy to have a third friend on the planet.

Anders would be sitting by the seaside studying the marine biology of the cove as Astral came back, she would spot the creature and dash over as fast as she could and start to pet the creature. "Oh how did you find this creature?" She would ask as a piece of fruit would fall into its mouth that Astral would drop.

His mouth was full with all sorts of the planet's fruits. "Well, I was gathering snacks." He took a second through muffled talk to swallow. "And it was following me as it wanted food. So I gave it this berry and it has been following me ever since."

Anders would keep petting it as her main hand would start to write notes. "Do you think all animals are this docile on the planet?" She would write down the traits of the creature as a much larger version would walk out of the forest. Standing over Astral and Anders.

"I will say that there might be no there doctor." Astral would toss the fruit that the smaller one liked upward. The creature would devour it as it flew through the air. Taking a step back Astral would show that it's young was completely unharmed.

Fully standing the wings would reach the treetops and the ears remained the same size. It would carefully reach down with its head and gently grab its offspring and slowly go back into the forest.

"Good news is that the fauna of the area do have respect and patience." Astral was pleased, biting down on a different fruit as Anders was too busy scribbling away on her notepad. "Enjoying the last day of vacation?"

Anders would look up to him and roll her eyes. "Of course, you are ruining my enjoyment of examination. Now shoo, don't you have a workout to do?" She would question him as he would just walk away.

The day would pass as the two both explored the cove and noted all of the fish swimming around. They definitely will have to take a second vacation out here. They would spend the weaning hours of the afternoon hiking to the hot springs to relax before heading back to earth.
