PAST OF VINASH

Then Rajendra asked, "Why the hell you not want to come back, why you not want to be yourself again why not?" Seeing his such force in talk, I got a bit angry, I shouted back, "Because that's not myself, that assassin Vinash is dead, you get, dead. DEAD!!!!" He this time clashed with me, "No, he's not, your name's still being used as a kidnapper's, I heard in Kolkata what situation is here".

I this time settled back, "Ok you wanna know why I don't want to go back, ok listen, Ravi you stay here, you need to know about my past," Ravi sat near us, I then started,

"You know my name, my previous job, the job of an assassin, money of blood, though I never enjoyed my work that much, I did it because I was selected for it under some circumstances. My codename was Vinash. Everything started from my assassination mission in Japan 4 years ago, Sunam Dhanrai, a former govt. high official, tried to betray the country. I was sent after him, I followed him to Japan where I slayed him and 15 of his other people whom he was meeting. I was regarded as the best in my job. I got married 3 years ago, my wife's name was Rimi Biswas. She was my only family and was the last person to be liquidated by me."

Ravi's face grew paler, his expressions read, "If someone can kill his own wife, no doubt killing someone like a so-called friend would be a child play to him." Well, this one could not blame him for this thinking, he did have a point. I still continued

"It was last year, I decided to leave the assassination job and ask the chief to transfer me to a different group so that I could stay a bit more time with my family, but before I did so, Brijesh Dhanrai, brother of Sunam kidnapped her. I found a letter at my house, it stated that she was kidnapped and the place where she was kept, using her as a bait to take revenge on me for what I did to his brother.

It was a 4-storey building, seemed to be a bit old, I didn't expect a lift to be present so it meant I had a higher chance of fighting people at every floor, I rushed forward without even thinking twice, I had 2 automatic pistols, and my Kodachi. The moment I entered I was attacked. I fought and killed, more the men came to tackle me more my anger rose. I killed everyone, of them. When I reached the second last floor I was attacked with some kind of gas, which took out my eyesight but I still managed to get out of there. At the final floor Rimi was kept and the only obstacle was Brijesh, I hid my Kodachi behind my back before entering here. He said, "You killer, you'll lose your wife if you move from there put your hand behind your head." I was bound to do it. Then I heard him running towards me laughing, most probably running with a sword. I hold to my Kodachi hidden behind me, knowing that I have to finish the work with a single stroke. I was ready to kill, and I was ready to die, I understood that striking Brijesh, blind and straight forward is a complete suicidal move, but I had no choice than that. He ran towards me; I could sense him through my hearing waiting him to come in my domain. When he did, I slashed forward, I was sure my blade did cut but Brijesh's blade did not reach, I was surprised. Slowly I started to regain my sight, I saw Rimi jumped between us, she stopped Brijesh's blade. I don't know whose blade struck her first and was fatal, but her death reason was me and my enemies. She made me promise her, as a Valedictorian promise that I will always stay happy and not ever cry for losing her. I planned to go to the depth of hell with Brijesh together but she changed everything. I did not have an idea what happened afterwards, but I ended up at hospital somehow. Then I discarded the name Vinash, Boss requested me to take the VR, now I am here, as you can see now. I'm no more the assassin for R.A.W, but the chapter of Vinash is still seems to be open that I believed to be closed."

Rajendra apologized for making me remember my dreadful past and Ravi seemed to be confused whether be scared to me of to do be not.

Rajendra then said, "Sorry to ask you this, but you are the one whom I can trust. The third brother of Sunam and Brijesh, Rajak Dhanrai, had threatened to kidnap my daughter, I don't know what to do in this case, Boss decided to help I would also need you please help me."

Ravi then said slowly after gaining confidence, "How can you ask him this? You know what past he faced because of this assassination business. Then why do you ask him?" He slowly said "Yeah I know but I've no choice." Before Ravi could say anything; I stopped him, and said, "Yeah I understand, I agree to do this, tell me when we will move out for this work." Ravi this time clashed with me asking my reason. I stated it was to finish the assassin Vinash's chapter forever. He understood he could not stop me anymore. Rajendra told me "Well then we'll leave here at 9. I'll tell you the route of journey tomorrow." Saying that he took his leave. Ravi then asked, "Will you again become Vinash to end Vinash's chapter?" I replied, "we assassins may not have the fearing if dying, trying suicidal moves, but we too cannot kill ourselves.
