A FACE TO REMEMBER

It was after two months, I still remember the date, 27th July, Sunday, I went to get some fish. When I came back, I met a familiar face, a face no one would usually like to see, the face of an assassin, the second best one to work for RAW, Rajendra.

Ravi saw me, he exclaimed, "Yo! You are late, your friend was about to leave."

I was shocked, I asked, "What are you doing here?"

Rajendra mocked and said, "this is not how you greet anyone familiar, you say 'long time no see' right, senior,"

I shouted, "Ravi get away from him, he's an assassin sent by RAW he is sent after people who tries to sell the secrets of the country."

Ravi this time got scared, he tried to move away slowly, Rajendra said, "Relax, I'm off duty and not here to assassinate and I cannot even scratch you in front of him, so please stay calm", he then handed over a letter to me, it was a letter addressed to me by the Boss (we never knew his true name, we always addressed him as 'Boss'). Rajendra then continued, "You must have heard the assassination attempt on Boss, though he was saved, he now wants you, the assassin Vinash, back at work."

Ravi was now horrified, listening that I was an assassin. He couldn't speak anymore; I understood his condition. I went up and closed the door and tried to calm him.
