Distortion and Aberrations
Wisdom forms the basis of good and evil. Generally, lower beings such as beasts and plants aren't typically classified as good or evil. So how could there be an evil flower?
Could it be from Hell?
Creatures from Hell are indeed more predisposed towards evil, with intelligent beings almost universally wicked, and beasts often judged as malevolent. Yet even in Hell, Forseti hadn't encountered evil plants.
Staring at the mysterious and malevolent flower before him, Forseti fell into thought.
At that moment, a rustling sound emerged nearby. A flesh worm the size of a thumb, resembling a cockroach, scurried into view. It hesitated briefly, then crawled towards the mysterious flower.
Forseti watched intently.
The cockroach ascended the mysterious flower, its antennae delicately brushing against the petals as if testing its scent.
Suddenly, the mysterious flower emitted a faint blue light. Its stamen, resembling a sarcoid, swelled abruptly, ensnaring the unsuspecting cockroach.
This plant truly possessed offensive capabilities. Forseti wasn't overly surprised; besides the blood-red aura, he discerned four layers of energy swirling around the flower.
A fourth-tier creature—be it a cockroach or even Captain America—might become a meal for this flower.
First things first.
Forseti swiftly reached out to grasp the mysterious flower, intending to uproot it.
At his touch, the mysterious flower erupted in a blaze of blue light, casting its surroundings in a cerulean hue.
Simultaneously, its stamen swelled and multiplied rapidly. Initially the size of an infant's fist, they ballooned to the dimensions of a basketball within moments—a colossal mass poised to envelop his hand.
Forseti channeled his flame power; his arm's temperature soared. The intense heat reduced the encroaching blue matter to cinders.
Yet, the growth of the stamen's blue substance didn't halt. Instead, it intensified, expanding from basketball-size to several meters in diameter, seemingly intent on engulfing the entire mountain.
Enough.
It wasn't the rampant proliferation of the blue substance that prompted Forseti to utter this word, but the mysterious flower's wildly burgeoning roots.
He tightly gripped the flower and ascended into the sky, soaring to an altitude of a thousand meters.
Only then did he finally extract the flower by its roots, the thousand-meter-long tendrils flailing in the air like the tentacles of some ancient deity.
With the roots severed, the unbridled growth of the blue substance finally ceased. By now, it had saturated the mountaintop, cloaking it in a faint azure shroud.
...
In a tranquil chamber, a man and a woman lay entwined, spent from their ardor upon a dampened bed.
"Darling, am I truly your first love?" inquired the woman, peering at the man beside her.
He was robust and handsome, his long tresses cascading. He smiled, playfully tweaking her nose. "Indeed, you're the first I've loved, and the last—the only one."
"But..." hesitated the woman.
"But what?" He continued to smile; his chiseled features reminiscent of a silver-screen hero.
"But why do you..." she began.
Abruptly, the man's countenance shifted, as though sensing a dire shift. He rose abruptly from the bed.
The woman startled, panic edging her voice. "What's amiss?"
"Who dares..." muttered the long-haired man with a steely glint in his eyes.
Instantly, a coruscating azure light enveloped him.
In an instant, attire materialized upon him seemingly from nothingness, before he hastened to depart.
The woman clutched him desperately. "Where are you going? My love!"
Impatiently, he gestured, and a beam of azure light discharged, causing the woman to vanish.
...
Elsewhere, Forseti regarded the voluminous blue substance atop the mountain, then glanced at the mysterious flower in his hand, his brow furrowed in contemplation.
Recalling the earlier scene, he began to discern the origin of this mysterious flower.
Ego.
Star-Lord's father, an entity that claimed to be a deity from the Celestials, purportedly evolved from a sentient planet known as Ego.
Forseti wasn't certain if Ego truly qualified as a god, but in terms of power, Ego undoubtedly possessed divine capabilities.
Ego had sown his seeds across the cosmos, potentially the most prolific entity in Marvel lore. He'd fathered countless offspring with various alien species, hoping to spawn descendants imbued with his own divinity, furthering his ambitions of universal conquest and annexation.
Apart from procreation, Ego also left behind a mysterious plant on every planet he visited. This plant, with its rampant proliferation akin to super-cancer cells, served as his tool for universal domination.
To a large extent, this plant could be considered an extension of Ego himself.
Reflecting on this, Forseti comprehended why the mysterious flower had registered as malevolent within the Holy Light's vision—it was tainted by Ego's evil.
Returning to ground level, Forseti intended to cleanse the mountain of the expansive blue substance. However, his expression abruptly changed as a realization dawned upon him.
He plucked a sample of the blue substance and subjected it to the sanctified punishment distortion alchemical formula for analysis.
**95% Compatibility with Aberrations Detected.**
Seeing this result, Forseti couldn't help but grin.
Just as he'd conjectured, this blue substance, endowed with super-proliferative capabilities akin to cancer cells, possessed the potential to substitute aberrations within the formula.
Without further ado, Forseti gathered an ample quantity of the blue substance, contemplating the formulation of punishment distortion elixirs to test their efficacy.
Amidst his collection of the blue substance, a figure suddenly descended from the sky, alighting upon the mountain—a figure bearing the countenance of a long-haired man.
Forseti observed the newcomer—tall, handsome, and nearly his equal in appearance.
Upon surveying the azure substance enveloping the vicinity, the man's countenance darkened. His eyes gleamed with an icy intensity. "Is this your doing?"
Forseti surmised his identity but still employed the Eye of Reckoning to glean additional insights.
Seven layers of energy undulations, a blood-red reckoning color identical to that of the mysterious flower—without a doubt, the arrival was none other than the celestial entity, Ego, or more precisely, Ego's humanoid avatar.
