"Why doesn't it exist? Don't you know about the Longshen Monster Emperor, who is on the number four position on the Tiandao Golden List? And besides, Tiandao even gave him a drop of true dragon's blood; and so that proves such things really do exist!"
The team was very engrossed in a conversation as they spoke of a day when they would ride on Longshen mount.
"But Xian Zhan has recently acquired a powerful mount!" Xian Yue cut in.
"Wait, didn't he go to the Feihua Mountains for training? Has he returned?" asked one of them.
"Not yet, but I saw him with a monster that has a hint of White Tiger blood!" Xian Yue replied.
"White Tiger bloodline? That guy is incredibly lucky!"
In no time, the golden griffon was roasted to perfection, its golden skin sizzling and releasing a mouthwatering aroma.
However, because of the low farming levels, no one was able to overindulge themselves, and the entire griffon was almost devoured by Xian Yue alone.
The golden wings especially tasted delicious. An aftertaste left Xian Yue without any resistance for it.
"Spiritual beast meat is fantastic!" he said reclining and drinking grape juice, savoring the moment.
The meat from such sacred animals was tender yet chewy; the best of all, it got simply divine after being cooked over his flames. Although scarcely a few spices were used to flavor it, no flavor he had ever encountered was quite like that in his former life.
As a transmigrator, he believed that life was not made for hardships but for indulgences instead. What is the point of being a transmigrator if he can't enjoy his life to the fullest, right?
"It's good, but it can't compare to the exquisite dishes at Blossom Feast Hall Restaurant!" Xian Lang interjected.
" Blossom Feast Hall Restaurant? Isn't that the place that only opens for three days every six months?" Xian Yue asked, now really intrigued.
Xian Yue was a true foodie.
"Exactly! I made a reservation last year, and it should be opening soon. We definitely need to go and experience it-it'll blow your mind! " Xian Lang stated.
"Absolutely, I can't wait to try it! "
.
A few days later, the seriously injured old man was brought back by a giant tiger. His body was covered with bruises, and innumerable small wounds decorated his skin, as if he had been shredded by countless blades, oozing blood from every injury.
"How dare that demon come to our Xian family and plunder them?" one of the members blurted out, just after the giant tiger appeared.
"I brought this guy here to the Xian family in Feihua City on my master's orders. The rest is not my concern!" declared the giant.
"Your master? Who is that?" asked the member.
"Xian Zhan!" It said, using its spiritual power to set down the injured elder gently before turning and leaving.
The Great Elder? Everyone gasped in disbelief.
What happened? Xian Yue, who had been fishing, entered the hall and frowned at the sight of the Great Elder, who flicked his finger, releasing a healing golden light.
"There's been an anomaly in our mineral veins in the Feihua Mountains!" he said, taking back his composure.
"A mineral vein? What exactly happened?" Xian Yue asked, wanting to know more.
By this time, the Great Elder had regained all his strength, but his bloodied appearance was quite alarming. "It is one of our spiritual mineral veins—the very same one from which we once extracted a Third Grade spiritual weapon!"
"Today, something weird emerged from it. I thought it was a spiritual weapon or treasure; however, it became something scary. When I touched it, a light sword shot out, and then split into a thousand little blades."
"The light slashed through my body, and if Xian Zhan hadn't shown up just in time to block some of the energy and give me a few pills, I might not have survived!" the Great Elder recounted, shuddering at the memory of the excruciating pain from the endless sword light.
"But how could something so horrifying exist there?"
"Sword light?" Xian Yue furrowed his brow, casting a look at the mineral vein this time, as a spark of interest flashed in his eyes.
In a split second, he realized the subtle webs of destiny unfolding.
"So that's it; there's actually a Great Emperor's inheritance hidden within!" he thought to himself.
"What? A Great Emperor's inheritance in our mineral vein?" This stunned reply elicited from the elder was replete with disbelief at the notion that such an earth-shaking legacy rested in their hands.
"Yes, the Great Emperor had fantastic swordsmanship. It's interesting; he is not exactly dead!"
Xian Yue laughed.
"Since it is the inheritance of a Great Emperor, Clan Leader, we must get it! Such an inheritance will significantly elevate our family heritage!" The Great Elder excitedly pressed, "With the power of the clan leader, it is sure that we will obtain the inheritance: the risks notwithstanding!".
"Let's not be in such a hurry. Xian Zhan is already here; let's look in on him first. Maybe he can be able to inherit the Great Emperor's legacy!" he said, waving his hand dismissively.
In particular, since Xian Zhan had the eternal sword body, which was really a great match to the swordsmanship legacy that they were looking for.
Xian Yue? Do you think he can make it?.
"We'll see. If any issues arise, I'll intervene. That inheritance isn't going anywhere!" he assured them.
That would also be a good learning experience for Xian Zhan .
As long as his family could sort out the situation, Xian Yue preferred not to interfere. He, the unrivaled figure of the Emperor Realm, felt it would be unfair to interfere in a contest against relatively weaker opponents.
Well, clan members should learn and develop especially now that Xian Zhan was the only genius among the future generations.
The Great Elder nodded his head as he knew that Xian Yue had the strength to make it happen.
Meanwhile, Xian Zhan set out to start exploring the mineral vein after ensuring that the Great Elder safely returned.
"If the patriarch grants me an opportunity to heal him, then he will have to be able to heal the elder's wounds!" he thought.
His stock of healing draughts was slim, mainly consisting of simple restoratives, and the elder's wounds were serious, not only in body but in spirit. Without prelude, he had sent the elder back to their kin to look for treatments that could teach them a lesson.
"The source of that continuous sword sound I heard before must be here, as well as the dreadful sword energy that just emerged. This place feels special! I think the swordmanship inheritance that I assumed might exist somewhere could be concealed here!" Xian Zhan thought to himself, frowning. His brow furrowed even deeper as he strained his eyes to see if he could reach any end in the vein. Alas, layers of hard rock blocked him, so he had to keep digging to plunge any deeper.
Without a second thought, Xian Zhan began doing so. If it could return something, a little effort was worth it, and he could find something valuable.
Wielding a spiritual weapon, he started hacking at the stone wall before him.
Of course, if he found a spiritual stone, he would still collect it.
Though its members ceased using it for cultivation, the family members still appreciate the low-grade spiritual stone as an important tool for external communications and transactions.
