Damien slowed down as they approached the closed metal gates of their private mansion. The neighborhood itself was newer and more affluent, and each mansion on the street had more than an acre of land around it to ensure privacy.
The only house that didn't follow that plan was the one that was there first. That one was massive, sitting on top of a hill with more land around it that sometimes Damien wondered how a place like that was even possible just outside the major city of Lupin City.
"I used to think that it was useless to have so much land around each house, but now that I am looking at them, I wonder if our neighbors are too close to us," grunted Dominik, looking out the window at his nearest neighbor.
He had no idea who could live there, and he couldn't remember ever meeting them, but with his wolf riding him so hard, none of that seemed to matter.
