As Silent As A Mouse

I am being hunted. Well, not me exactly. Someone wants to get their hands on the genius behind A.M.K Pharmaceuticals. They just don't know it's me. I have discovered a way to negate anyone's scent, shifter or human. You would think it wouldn't be that big of a deal... deodorants promise the same thing, but my product is nothing like that. My product turns its wearers invisible to shifters. No, not like that. But shifters need scent more than almost anything else to identify and find a person. Without scent, they can't track down their prey, or smell an enemy coming up from behind. I had originally created it so my adopted father and I could avoid the shifter community. No one was supposed to know about it. Until a little birdy said something they shouldn't have to the wrong person. Now the humans are after me and the shifters want me dead. But that's fine. That wasn't the only thing I came up with. And if I am as silent as a mouse, no one will see me coming until it is too late. This will be a RH novel, the FMC will not have to choose. Hell Has Frozen Over

Raphael stirred, the vibrations of his phone going off, making him worried that it might disturb Addy's sleep. Blindly reaching toward the nightstand, he grabbed the offending object and quickly answered it.

"Is this a bad time?" came a low, growling voice through the phone. Raphael looked down at where Addy was sleeping on his chest before relaxing back on his pillow.

"Yup," he grunted, closing his eyes. He could hear the rest of the guys shifting around the room, doing whatever it was that they were doing. But none of them were leaving until Addy was good and ready to dismiss them.

This meant that he was now taking work calls from the comfort of his king-sized bed. "But I assumed that you already knew that."

"Seeing as I've been trying to get a hold of you for the past six hours, I was 90% sure," agreed the male, a light, teasing tone to his voice.
