CHAPTER 27 : The hunt 1

 " A " Lily called " it must not be real after all " she bent her head and almost immediately, A showed up in the mirror, her hair was her white ,her eyes the faintest shade of blue .

 " So you did summon me after all? " A asked 

 " You came? " Lily smiled " I had a long thought about what you said yesterday night and I'm curious as well. I don't know how this mystery is happening but I want to get to the bottom of it, I want to know what I really am, what I can do. So, I've concluded that I would like us to unite. If we really are the same person, becoming one would not be difficult "

 " You want us to try that today ?" A asked bewildered " What if it's not possible? What if you're not conscious when I take over your human half? "

 " There's no harm in trying, is there? " Lily questioned " I would call you before we would leave to hunt, please be ready " 

 Lily quickly changed to her second maudsift outfit , she looked in the mirror once more, A was not there, she saw just her. If there was one thing she knew, it was that something really strange was happening to her, but what was it? . Today, when they would unite she would try to find out. It was obvious that the kingdom of Ashty was behind this strange transformation, she needed time to figure everything out. 

 On her way down, she met with Princess Elma who was escorted by her sister-in-law, Gwinn . Her hair was styled in a high ponytail, she looked nice. 

 " Princess Lily " she began " Are you ready for the hunt? "

 " Is there something in particular you want to say? " Lily asked back 

 " Not really, I just came across a vital piece of information. Is it true that you can't ride a horse?, you're not even qualified to be a maudsift but the king favours you "

 " You make a mountain out of a molehill, Is this what all this was about? All the hate and the envy? You wanted the King's favour? That's so funny, you've been here before me, you're supposed to earn that before I came here. Perhaps, you're of little relevance and the king found that in me "

 " The king found nothing in you " Gwinn commented angrily. 

 " You're just his favourite son's wife, but all that would change. You better watch your back, cause I'll be there poking at it " Elma hissed and walked away 

 ' I detest her ' Lily said inwardly 

 " Are you alright? " A voice came from behind, it was Karina's 

 " I'm fine, I was just having a talk with Princess Elma" Lily lied 

 " Don't let her get to you, let's go "

 The horn was blown, it was time for the hunt . The ladies were given their own horses, bows and arrows , each arrow having a different colour at the tail . The tail of Lily's arrows had the colour blue, Doric's had the colour red, Elma's had the colour green, Karina's yellow, Rosammund's silver. The colours were serving as a means of identification. Again, the horns were blown. 

 " Go " lady Amstrid shouted at the top of her voice
