When the horn was blown to warn of the approaching vatakku soldiers, no one could keep the leaders out of the field specially Darce. His leg was hurt but he still wanted to get out to the field. His commanders complained about it and wanted to stop him from getting out of bed. Instead of listening to them, he argued.
“How can you guys even think that I will stay down after I know who is out there.” He pulled himself off the bed, forcing his leg to take the pressure off his body.
“We all know who is out there and he is a general experienced in surviving the battle.” He moved to bring out new clothes from the cupboard on the opposite wall dragging his feet.
“That is exactly why we don’t want you to get out there. He is really strong. If you were fit. I would follow you but you have a handicap no, he will take advantage of it.” Dylan argued hoping his friend would listen to him.
Darce turned around to face him.
