Bk3: Ch–20 The coal mines(pt-2)

Belal noticed her gender as soon as she came out of the wagon. Master Waiz was angry that day. He pointed to the slaves behind him.

“Set them in the mines. No food until they fill up the first crate.” His rage was seen that day.

He was fuming with anger as he walked away without even looking at the people behind him. Belal watched his master walking away, he was confused that a woman would be in the mines. That too with all these men. He was feeling sorry for her until his eyes went to the scar on her face. He felt scared by the long cut but more than that he felt scared to look at her eyes. Those were looking at him like a tiger waiting for its chance to hunt him down. He quickly made them go to the mines with leg shackles. He did not even bother to make a separate quarter for her safety.
