Bk3: Ch–144 Hidden Deep Inside(pt-1)

It was still night when Darce returned with Rosa. They wanted to ensure their arrival was kept from being announced, but that was impossible, as the camp noticed their disappearance. Only the patrol guards at the gate saw them leaving. Darce was sure they must have informed the total camp right now.

To an extent, Darce was happy that Dylan was not in the camp, or else Darce would be hearing lectures from the man about his foolishness. Even Rosa would be served lectures, even though she is a princess. He watched as the men crowded in front of the entrance. Tom was the most distinguishable among the others.

He came over, running as they stopped in front of the base. “Sir? …”

Tom had no other words as he noticed the state of both.

“What happened here? Why did you leave? Sir?” he spoke, but his eyes widened like saucers when he saw Rosa.
