Bk3: Ch– 62 Banquet(pt-2)

The king’s smile disappeared with the arrival of the third wife. He could not take her words seriously. The woman’s wish is creating problems in the court. His hands were tied, but he still could not find it in him to treat her kindly. This was also the reason he was so distant from the Queen. According to him, it is a disappointment that the Queen was so powerless against a concubine.

“My son, the third prince, also wishes to help his highness with the alliance meeting. He wishes to show the progress that has been made.”

King Khawar turned to look at Asad. “Is what your mother claims to be a true prince?”

Asad kept his head down.
