“It is not wise to gamble like this; it could have cost lives. Every decision delayed could cause the lives of warriors here." Rosa took a step back as the words of Edan reached her ears.

Her eyes blinked as the flap stayed still. Her shadow was not noticed by the men inside.

‘Must be due to the darkness.’ She thought as she rubbed her chin, curious.

“Whatever the reason, she needs to answer for her decision.” Baliyo scoffed as he watched Paulina stitch the cut on Eugene’s body.

He was looking pale from the blood loss.

“I would like to know as well what had happened.” Edan’s voice was rough.

He did not wish to accuse the princess, but there were still answers he wanted. Edan was feeling helpless in the middle of the battle. He was not going to relax without an appropriate response. He has seen her make better decisions than this.

“It is not right that we are making such an accusation about Rosa without asking her first.” Eugene intervened again.
