Morning came early the next day. Rosa opened her eyes to the bright sunlight in the room. Her eyes hurt, while her body felt sluggish as she forced herself to sit up on the bed.

Her eyes were burning due to the lack of sleep. “Are you up? Hueian sister wanted to let you sleep in.”

The cadet who talked was already in their armor and freshened up. Rosa yawned and turned her face to look around the room. Except for her all the other cadets were suited up. “Is there training session in the morning?”

She reached for the mask on the side of her bed. “You did not miss anything it is just line up assemble for the cadets. If you make haste you can join us.” The girl smiled while glancing at the scar on the newcomer’s cheek.
