The next few moments were moving slowly for Rosa. She was frowning the whole time. Darce left the meeting room without explaining more. He was grumbling and just excused himself to search for Houman. Rosa watched him for a bit. She glanced at Conner and waited to hear the rest. However, his friends would not be speaking without permission.

“What can you not explain to me about my husband?” Rosa sighed as she tried to think of alternatives.

She wondered if there was any way to get some answers out. “You know I can order you to answer me about this.”

“And you would not like just our version; I think it is better if you ask His Highness about it. I am sure he would like to explain his mood.” Dylan tilted his head.

“Are you sure about that? For I don’t think he does right now.” Rosa pointed at the letters and the door. Her mind wanted to peek into those letters, but her hand was not moving.
