So the whole thing is gonna be chrysalis combined with Pokémon reincarnation system

The system with not have a personality at first but will slowly start to gain one

Mc will be unstable and have no memories

He will remember random things and the longer he survives a life the more he will remember

So basically a way to explain this would be when he Wakes up no matter what animal in the eye or forehead the crystal or stone that allows us players to interact with inventory would be there and since it's in his eye he would be able to interact with a thought.

And on the first death after he regains some of his ego(self consciousness or former intelligence which ever you prefer). He goes through the achievements and it shows that he has lived many lives in small organisms and that the system or program auto selected bigger and slowly smart things after the others didn't get a host able to communicate

Maybe if he has offspring then dies he could take over their body and the offspring would inherit some of the mutations he chose
