Aza
He is doing this again.
Is there even a need to hold this ceremony. It's the most idiotic in nature. Like who the hell announces that they are finally open for people to claim.
I look in the mirror. The scar stretches down my forearm. Will anyone even like someone like me? Some one who is unfit, scared for life...
Knock knock
"Big brother! Come on out already!!!!! It's time!" Clarice yells in anticipation.
"Yes, just a minute!" I yell back and quickly shrug on the full arm armor covering up the scar.
"How much time do you need to get ready?" She asks as I open the door.
"Don't you think that the rolls have just been interchanged?" I ask her with a smirk.
"OH forget about it. Let's go now!" She huffs and latches on to my arm.
As we close up on the hall room, I see my grand mother and father. Grandmother's just as cherry as usual and father just as frosty.
"OH Aza, you look so handsome. I bet you will make all the girls swoon over you the moment you enter the hall." Granmother says.
"Off course GranMother, whose big brother is he?" Clarise asks. I can't help but smile at both of them.
"It's time." Father says in his usual cold demeanor. I don't understand what my mother had seen in him to marry such a cold bastard.
"Come on." I hold Clarice as we enter the ball room.
Gasps and awes ring around the room as we enter, trying to be the absolute elites that we are.
"The crown prince Aza of Auclair and the young princess Clarice of Auclair." At our names, people burst out in a crafty applause.
~
I hate this.
It has been less than half a pie and all I have done is stand around as these pick me girls approach me on their own. At least let me do my supposed to job for a day.
Just then Syntheia, my childhood friend approach me; bowing low.
"My prince!" She says.
"OH my princess!" I say in return.
We both share a look and laugh politely.
"It's been days where have you been lately?" I ask.
"OH you know the usual. Exploring the already explored castel. If you want proof then it has 2576 rooms and 5 times the windows." She answers.
"Why don't you talk with your father?"
"You think I haven't tried! All he does is say someday. And that someday is never gonna come." She replies frustrated.
"Anyways have you seen that girl over there..." She asks pointing subtly towards the dinner table.
I look around the room with a frown as my sight lands on a.....weird..... girl. Is that a princess?
Because all she is doing is inhaling down the chocolates like a mad woman.
"Wow! You know what, I am going to go check with her a bit." I say as I inch closer to her slowly as I hear her mumble some sorts about the ceremony.
"At least this place has got good food, or they would have got a piece of my mind and then I would have got a piece of my mother's mind.
Why the hell am I even here? And where is that non existent prince of Aza. Oh wait it is prince of Auclair."
I find this to be the best time to interrupt,
"I am right here." I whisper in her ear going as close I could go to her.
With a small yelp she literally jumps up inches in the air before landing a feet away, facing me.
"Wha...what?"
"I...am prince Aza of Auclair. It's a pleasure to meet you." So saying I go down on one knee and extend my hand to hold hers.
She first frowns as she looks up at a woman in the gallery where all the kings and queens of the invited prince and princess are, then she huffs. Harshly wiping her chocky hands on her beautiful blue dress, she offers her hand to me.
"Princess Valen of Maurice. It's a pleasure to have became of your acquaintance." She says with a false smile.
I chuckle at her behavior.
I am sorely gonna regret doing what I am doing.
I step close to her once again, and wipe away the chocolate from the edge of her mouth as I say,
"It's a wonder to meet you Valen...of Maurice."
She immediately strickens at my gesture as the heat rushes up her face and it starts getting hot from the heat she radiates.
"Come along let us have a dance." I grab her hand, off course in a sophisticated manner and lead her to the middle of the dance floor. At my gesture the musicians start up an upbeat ballad.
"Let's see if you can keep up princess Valen."
"Am I hearing a challenge in those words prince Aza?" She asks getting over the initial shock.
"You can interpret the meaning the way you want."
"In that case, be ready to be slayed prince Aza."
We start to dance to the upbeat waltz.
It seems like we are having a fray.
She smacks my shoulder as she places her hand in place. I then jolt her away and bring her back flush to my body and hold her waist firmly. I can see the struggle for freedom, as our eyes meet. I couldn't help but be amazed by how green they were. But suddenly she smashes her pointed heel in my foot, and I jolt back to our surroundings. I then throw her to the sky and when she comes back I pull her down with inhuman strength. This shakes her senseless as she looks thunderstruck. But she soon gets over it as she pokes her thumb hard in my shoulder making me almost yelp.
We Dance smoothly. Gliding around the room with the fiery moves as we both compete with each other.
At the end of the song we both are so tired that neither of us could even stand straight.
Just when Valen had started to sway and about the Kiss the floor hello, I sweep her up bridal style. I hear her squeak and couldn't help but smile. I pose through all her struggles as I excuse myself from the party.
I take her to the garden, near Clarice's favorite fountain and set her down on its edge. I sit beside her with a sigh.
"That was one hell of a fight." She says.
"Yea it sure was. And I won it."
"OH hell not, It was I who won."
"Did you even see my exceptional moves? You couldn't even par with any one of them. You just went with the flow that I set. So I am the winner."
"Did you just say that my dance is lame. That is so mean prince Aza! I hope one day you embarrass yourself while doing these exceptional moves of yours."
"How could you even dare to curse me!!!!!" I scrunch my nose in disappointment, when she suddenly bursts out laughing.
"You look so cute like that." She says as she wipes the corner of her eyes.
I look at her as she looks right back at me.
"Thanks for the dance." I say. "You weren't that bad."
"You too." She says back as she smiles from ear to ear.
We roam around the garden for the rest of the party, till it was time for her to go home.
All eyes fall on us as we enter the ball room again. I mean all my previous actions fairly show who I have chosen to be my bride. So I expect everyone else to back off.
I wave bye to Valen,"I will come pay you a visit soon."
"Yea sure. Why don't you come along for the spring festival?! I would even be able to flaunt my perfect country!"
We both chuckle as she goes away for the time being.
