■A/N POV■

Everyone were sitting across the dinner table talking while Y/N was just sitting there, all alone and quiet.

But soon she noticed a pair of eyes on her. It was Beomgyu.

(A/N : You thought it was Taehyun didn't you?)

Y/N gave him the 'what' look.

And he just shook his head lightly as a no and continued talking with Huening.

■Beomgyu POV■

We were at the dinner table talking like usual but then I saw Y/N sitting completely quiet.

As I was looking at her thinking what Kai must have said, she looked up at me with a 'what' look.

I just shook my head lightly and started talking with huening kai who was beside me.

Beomgyu : Huening-ahh.

Kai : Hmm?

Beomgyu : What did you exactly say to Y/N before?

Kai : Well we were talking and...

He told me their whole conversation.

Beomgyu : You told her you're her best friend?

Kai : Yeah. Did I do something wrong?

Beomgyu : Not exactly. Don't worry about it.

Kai : Okay.

■Y/N POV■

I was peacefully eating my food when Mr.Kang called out my name.

Mr.Kang : Y/N.

I was startled but managed to reply.

Y/N : Yes sir?

Mr.Kang : So I heard you joined my son's team.

Y/N : Yes I did.

Mr.Kang : How lovely it is that you guys have a female member now. You guys don't have to disguise as females.

Y/N : What? Disguise? As females?

You said looking at your friends.

Mr.Kang : Yeah didn't they tell you?

Y/N : No, they didn't.

You said growing more invested.

Taehyun : Dad! That was so long ago!

Mr.Kang : No it wasn't! The last time one of you dressed up as a female was last month!

Yeonjun : Can we please not talk about it?

He asked looking rather red.

Y/N : Don't tell me it was you yeonjun!

Yeonjun : Oppa.

He corrected you.

Y/N : Never. It's either hyung or nothing.

Yeonjun : Okay. It's hyung for you then.

Y/N : Don't tell me it was you Yeonjun hyung.

You said rolling your eyes.

Beomgyu : It was!

Y/N : Do you have pictures?

Soobin : Unfortunately no. And there won't be a next time since you joined.

Y/N : Aww.

Huening : Moving on!

He said with an embarrassed smile.

Mr.Kang : So Y/N, Do you know how to fight?

Y/N : I do Mr.Kang.

Mr.Kang : How long have you known fighting?

He asked curiously.

Y/N : Uhh.... I think I trained in Martail Arts from 7 till I was 18.

Mr.Kang : And you are?

Y/N : 19.

Mr.Kang : Oh that's not so bad.

Y/N just smiled and returned to eating.

■Taehyun POV■

I was talking with everyone until I noticed Beomgyu and Y/N talking through their eyes. And then Beomgyu started talking to huening.

What was that about?

I have no clue.

And then my father started talking about how some members dress up as girls to some missions.

It was starting to get a little awkward but we stopped and dad asked about Y/N's fighting.

Mr.Kang : So Y/N, Do you know how to fight?

Y/N : I do Mr.Kang.

Mr.Kang : How long have you known fighting?

He asked curiously.

Y/N : Uhh.... I think I trained in Martial Arts from 7 till I was 18.

Mr.Kang : And you are?

Y/N : 19.

Mr.Kang : Oh that's not so bad.

I was about to eat when Y/N looked at me with a 'What the hell is going on' looked.

Adorable but I have to reply.

So I just shrugged my shoulders at her.

She rolled her eyes and took out her phone and used it below the table.

But considering my dad is not the best person, I texted her not to use her phone.

Soon everything came to an end but my dad just had to call us when we were about to step outside.

Mr. Kang : Kids!

All of us looked back as he hurried to us.

Mr. Kang : Y/N's 1st mission will be on Saturday. Does she have another name yet?

Taehyun : Yes, we chose 'Kira' for her dad.

Beomgyu : I chose it Mr.Kang.

Dad just chuckled.

And I shot a glare at Beomgyu. I looked behind to see Y/N thinking about something.

Taehyun : What is it that you're thinking about Y/N dearest?

Y/N : Can I kill people on Saturday?

She asked gleefully.

Taehyun : Yes you can actually.

So Soobin hyung was right.

Y/N : Nice.

She said and went back at her phone.

Yeonjun : Guess the word Kira does suit you afterall.

Huening : He's right Y/N.

Y/N looked up.

Y/N : Okay.

◇Time skip. Tuesday (Next day).School◇

■Y/N POV■

I was walking down the hall when my phone's message tone went off. I opened it to see..... a groupchat?.

I've never been in a group chat before and the screen was way too bright so I changed it to dark and went back to the conversation

I should be added in another gc too?

Chaotic mess?

Looking forward to it.

I thought to myself and went to class to see Taehyun and Kai waving at me.

Taehyun : Hi Y/N!!!

Y/N : We all came to school together, you're acting like we didn't see each other for ages.

Huening : Sure it does.

Y/N : Eh?

Huening : Nothing, Good Morning Y/N.

Y/N : Good morning?

Y/N : So what is this Chaotic mess Soobin told me?

Taehyun : Our normal groupchat.

Huening : Yup.

Y/N : Oh.

Hyuka : I'll go to my locker real quick.

Y/N : Oh okay..

Suddenly my notification tone went off again.

I looked up and saw Taehyun pointing at his phone so i nodded and opened mine.

The groupchat was indeed a mess.

And someone stole Huening's Egg tarts.

well someone is Soobin so we pinned it on him.

as soon as that was over, another wave of chaos started.

Y/N : Are you all always like this.

Taehyun : Never changed.

Y/N : Oh.

Taehyun : Wanna hang out after school?

Y/N : Sure what do we do?

Taehyun : Café? Movies? You name it.

Y/N : How about we just study together?

Taehyun : 'kay then it's a study date!

Date?

Did he just say date?

Pretty sure he did

Taehyun : I did say date Y/N dearest.

He said grinning.

What's with that nickname!?

Y/N : What? Oh.

Taehyun : What happened to you?

He asked at Huening who was entering the room looking like a kid who dropped his ice cream.

Huening : You know what happened!

Taehyun : Right....

Huening : You guys doing anything today?

Y/N : M-

Taehyun : Me and Y/N are going on a study date!

Hyuka : date? DATE!?

Y/N : study date.

Hyuka : still has the word date in it.

Did you 2 finally tell each other!?

You both looked at each other.

Y/N : what?

Taehyun : what do you mean?

Hyuka's face dropped.

Hyuka : Oh nothing.

Y/N : Yah! HUENING KAI did you see Taehyun today!?!?!?!??

You said shaking his arms with full force.

Hyuka : Yes I did Y/N. I live with him.

He said bored.

Y/N : Come on!!!!!!!!!

Hyuka : Dude you aren't even the Y/N that's all quiet and shit. What happened to you!?

Y/N : I don't know.

You whined.

Well wasn't that a good memory?

By now You're sure who your bestfriend should be and who shouldn't.

Y/N : Huening-ahh.

Y/N : Ever considered being best friends?

Y/N : Me. Duh.

Hyuka's eyes widened.

Hyuka : You!? Really!? Oh I would love to have a best friend like you Y/N-iee!!!

Y/N : So is that a yes?

Hyuka : Yeah!!!!!!

Taehyun smiled at you.

Y/N : what?

Taehyun : Nothing~

He looked at Huening and just lightly nodded.

Y/N : What's going on?

Hyuka : Look the teacher's here.

Y/N : Oh.

◇Time skip. Beomgyu and Y/N's dorm◇

■Beomgyu POV■

I was watching TV when the doorbell rang.

I went and opened it to be engulfed in a hug from Taehyun and Huening kai.

Beomgyu : Woah what's going on!?

Taehyun : Is Y/N here?

He whispered.

Beomgyu : In her room.

Hyuka nodded and all 3 of us sat on the couch.

Beomgyu : So what're those big grins for?

Hyuka : So we were sitting in school...

Beomgyu : Go on.

Hyuka : And Y/N asked me to be my Best friend.

My eyes widened and I stood up.

Beomgyu : What!? Really!? Don't mess with me huening!

Hyuka : I'm not!! ask taehyun!!!

I looked at him and he nodded with a smile.

We sat back down.

Beomgyu : So why are you smiling?

I said pointing at Taehyun.

Taehyun : Y/N and I are going on a study date like 15 minutes from now.

Beomgyu : Oh, good for you -WAIT WHAT!?

Taehyun : What?

Beomgyu : A date!? With my younger sister!?

Taehyun : A study date hyung.

WHERE THE FUCK IS THIS CHILD'S BAG IF HE'S GOING ON A STUDY DATE.

Beomgyu : I need her back my 8.

I said looking at my watch to see the time to see 5.39pm.

Taehyun : Sure thing.

And Y/N walked out with her bag and headphones on.

Y/N : Hey guys!

Beomgyu : I heard you got a best friend.I'm so glad Y/N-iee.

I said as I suffocated her to death with a hug.

Y/N : You started calling me that again.

Beomgyu : When did I stop. Okay go now.

■Taehyun POV■

I was outside Beomgyu hyung and Y/N's dorm with hyuka to tell the news about her new best friend and me borrowing her for a while.

We rang the bell and He opened the door to be met with a hug from us.

Beomgyu : Woah what's going on!?

Taehyun : Is Y/N here?

I whispered making sure she couldn't hear us.

Beomgyu : In her room.

Hyuka nodded and all 3 of us sat on the couch.

Beomgyu : So what're those big grins for?

Hyuka : So we were sitting in school...

Beomgyu : Go on.

Hyuka : And Y/N asked me to be my Best friend.

Hyung's eyes widened and he stood up.

Guess his sister socializing is a big deal for him.

Beomgyu : What!? Really!? Don't mess with me huening!

Hyuka : I'm not!! ask taehyun!!!

He looked at me with a serious face and all I could was just smile and nod.

We sat back down.

Beomgyu : So why are you smiling?

He said pointing at me looking curious.

Taehyun : Y/N and I are going on a study date like 15 minutes from now.

He asked pulling his big brother card.

Taehyun : What?

Beomgyu : A date!? With my younger sister!?

Taehyun : A study date hyung.

Beomgyu : I need her back my 8.

He said looking at his watch.

And Y/N walked out with her bag snd headphones on.

Y/N : Hey guys!

Beomgyu : I heard you got a best friend.I'm so glad Y/N-iee.

He said as he hugged me and I swear I think I broke 2 ribs.

Y/N : You started calling me that again.

Beomgyu : When did I stop. Okay go now.

Taehyun saw me and I just waved.

Taehyun : Good evening Y/N dearest.

Beomgyu : Y/N dEaReSt.

Taehyun : What?

Beomgyu : Nothing.

He said in an annoyed tone.

Me and Y/N just laughed and made our way to the door.

Y/N : Bye Hyung! Bye Huening-ahh!

Hyuka : Bye best friend!

And this time she didn't freeze. She just

smiled.

Taehyun : Bye guys!

Beomgyu : I want her back by 8!

Taehyun : Got it!

We closed the door and went outside.

Y/N : Where's your bag?

Taehyun : Huh?

Y/N : You don't have your bag.

Taehyun : Oh I never noticed.

Y/N : You planned this didn't you?

Taehyun : What? No! Why would I?

She just looked at me with a 'done' look.

I just scratched the back of my neck. and started speaking.

Taehyun : So....coffee?

Y/N : Sure.

She said as she let out a small laugh.

We sat outside the coffee shop until it was 7.30 and I even took a picture of her.

I Chuckled looking at the picture and kept it inside my pocket when I saw Y/N looking right through my soul.

She didn't wear her glasses today.

How the hell did I not recognize my lifelong crush after just one year?

Y/N : Why?

Taehyun : Why what?

Y/N : Why'd you come on a study date without your books you idiot?

Taehyun : I forgot them.

Y/N : Hyun. I may be an Idiot but I'm not stupid.

Taehyun : Fine I didn't want to study.

Y/N : And?

Taehyun : And I wanted to talk to you.

Y/N : Could've just said that.

She said rolling her eyes playfully.

Taehyun : Choi Y/N!

Y/N : That's me.

Taehyun : Uhh....umm..

Y/N : Get it together Hyun.

She's right. You get one chance Kang Taehyun!

Taehyun : Will you go out with me?

■Y/N POV■

Taehyun : Will you go out with me?

Y/N : what?

Taehyun : Well- You see- I've liked you for a long time now- and I just can't- you know-

Wake up Choi Y/N.

By now he had his eyes shut tight waiting for an answer.

The guy I liked from Junior year is asking me out. what the actual fuck!?

Ofcourse I'm gonna say Yes.

Y/N : Sure.

Could've worked on a better reply.

Taehyun : Really!?

He said standing up, eyes shot open.

Y/N : Yeah.

Yup I should've.

Taehyun : Thank you Y/N!!!!

Y/N : okay.

You said chuckling at this little squirrel infront of you who's jumping around.

■A/N POV■

But before you know it.....The 'little squirrel' lifted the girl and spun her around before actually hugging her.

(ohhhh the cringe)

Y/N : Umm.

Taehyun : Don't say anything.

Y/N : Okay(??)

When he finally pulled away, All he did was smile.

Y/N : We should uhh.....get going?.

Taehyun : This is why I told you not to speak.

He said still smiling at the girl.

Taehyun : But you're right. Let's go!

He said and ran off with the superhero pose while Y/N was trying to catch up with him.

Maybe this wasn't hell after all.

I mean who's crush would make a move first?
