Chapter 2: So We Now Skip To Episode Three

Hello everyone here are we back for chapter two! I'm not sure how to seamlessly just skip parts in between little bits where I'll add my little Timbits so until I figure that out please bear with me as you read some lines straight from the anime. Oh, also sometimes Yumi will be narrating while others she'll be thinking if this gets confusing just tell me and I'll try to find a way to fix it! Thanks for reading!

(Yumi's POV)

'Okay, so they just walked in! Look how nice they all look!'

I look down at the outfit I chose for myself still slightly impressed. I'm wearing a blood-red crop top with my shoulders exposed. I even added a little cape to the back because why not? Also, I have a similar colour red sweatpants, oh and a white fuzzy bunny hat!

(Sorry a bit of an author break but what my OC is describing is the outfit she is in on the cover, I know it isn't that good I tried my best but I'm not much of an artist! The original image is a cover for a poll by someone called Kia. I don't know them but I found it off of Google and liked it so there we go! Perfect cover!)

Anyway enough about me! Leorio is talking about the mood and stuff like that, which I admit is a bit tense, and Kurapika agrees.

'Should I come down from one of these pipe things on the wall or not? On one side I can continue watching these three beautiful characters who are now real for a bit longer - wait did I mention how real they look YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! - or I can go up there and communicate to these masterpieces for real! Oh no, what should I do!'

(General POV)

While Yumi was weighing her options concerning what felt like to her the biggest decision of her life Gon was just receiving his number.

'huh 406?' he thinks when he hears a voice calling out.

"I don't think I've seen you boys before?!" 

"Yo!" the man says friendlily waving his hand to the group of three.

"Wait, You can tell it's our first time here?" Gon questions hand raised in curiosity. 

Gon looking up sees an overweight man with brown hair and a grayish jumpsuit under a sky blue sleeveless t-shirt carrying a light green bag across his front, on his chest reading the number 17.

"More or less," He says jumping down from where he was seated. 

"It's getting easier. It is my 35th attempt so it kinda comes with the territory."

"You've tried 35 times!" Leorio, Kurapika and Gon all manage to say at the same time.

"I guess you can say I am a hunter exam veteran!" he says cheekily. 

"That's not something to brag about," Leorio says off to the side which Kurapika agrees to under his breath.

(Yumi POV)

A sudden scream pulls me out of my thoughts which ticks me off, who could be screaming right now when I'm making such an important decision?

I look down to see how a random person is being dissipated into what looks like glowing little paper four-leaf clovers and I instantly know what is happening.

'Oh it's that pedophilic clown isn't it?' I think rolling my eyes but I'm still kind of intrigued.

'How did he make the guy disappear without a trace of blood? It feels really weird it barely even hurts you know compared to poking out your eye for example but still weird nonetheless' I let out a sadistic smile.

'Think of all the trauma that could inflict! I kinda want to learn how to do that now!'

I watch as the edgy clown makes his little speech and exits in the most edgy way possible. 

'What a f*cking clown, wait doesn't the fat pig make a move after this in the anime? He better have listened to my warning!'

I quickly look around and soon zero in on him offering the trio the drugged pop and soon boil in anger. 

'You dare poison MY FREINDS!' I yell internally and before anyone can even open a can I've jumped down straight into the middle of the circle.

(Tonpa POV)

'Hehehe, I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they realize I've ruined their chances of passing the hunter exam! Ha! I'll enjoy every minute of it!'

The next thing I know blur of red jumps in front of me and I hear a few clunks on the ground before I know what's happening I also receive a slap on the cheek! Then another one! 

'What the f*ck!' I think as I soon found myself on the floor my cheeks as if they're on fire.

I look up to see a girl with a red outfit and a bunny hat looking down at me with eyes as if I were trash. I almost yell out in outrage before I sense a sinister aura around her and remember who she is.

----------(Flashback to maybe a few hours ago)-----------

I had just walked out of the elevator confident I got here before a bunch of people before I saw a group of about 14 scattered around the huge hall. I see a few familiar faces that I wasn't surprised got here before me, that was until I saw her.

'How the frick did a newbie get here before me! And she's even a little brat!' Now this ticked me off so I chose to take the orange pop can that had enough laxative to kill 3 people and offered it to her. She seemed very appreciative and took the can readily. I thought I'd won before I saw her crush the can in her hand with ease and give me a big smile.

" I really don't care that you are posing newbies but if you even go close to a group of three with majestic green, blond and black hair...." she then drops the can and steps on it making a small impression on the concert floor.

"I might just have to end you. Got it?"

----------(Flashback end)-------------------

'Sh*t! I completely forgot her warning!' I scream internally as I watch as she slowly starts to bring out a small kitchen knife from her pocket but then suddenly stops.

My heart which was racing soon came to a screening halt seeing this hesitation.

'Did she have a change of heart? Pity! Thank the Lord she's not gonna kill me!'

(Yumi's POV)

'Wait!' she thinks stopping herself from slaughtering the pig.

'Gon, Kuripakia and Leorio are still watching me! Oh no, I can't have their first impression of me as a psychopathic murderer! Gon might not care but what about the other two!' I soon turn resolute.

'I just cannot let that happen.' I then look at Tonpa with a glare. 'You better be thankful those three angels just saved your life'

My murderous smile quickly changed to a happy one that I'd practiced in the mirror after someone rejected me because my smile looked weird.

"Mister, you shouldn't go around poisoning people like I said you shouldn't. It's bad and you might kill somebody. Everyone should get a shot at this exam after working so hard to get here!"

I soon heard a surprised Leoiro call out. "That was poisoned!" I turn around and see him look at Tonpa angrily.

"I knew it was suspicious" Kurapika mumbled under his breath looking at the can that was now on the floor in a new light.

Gon just gives me a big smile and a thanks for stopping them from getting poisoned.

I almost broke out back into my natural creepy smile before I stopped myself as they reacted just like I thought they would.

"You're welcome!" I say cheerfully chuckling a bit thinking fast to bring out a plausible lie. "He's tried to give me some as well. It's just a laxative but that pig chose a very powerful one as well as put in a lot of it which could make someone die of dehydration when they're sh*ting themselves. When I saw him offering you guys some I knew it might be harmful for you three as you didn't look strong enough to handle it!"

(General POV)

This revalation just makes Leorio more surprised making him completely forget how this little kid not just addressed him informally but also called him weak all in the same sentence.

Hearing me speak again Kurapika is stunned hearing just how destructive it would've been if he had drunk the pop, thankfully not picking up how Yumi just embellished the truth a tad.

"Wow, that's bad," Gon says giving a glance at Tonpa who was quickly scurrying away on all fours looking more thankful that he got to see another day than in his entirety of life.

"Anyway, what's you're name?" Gon asks completely ignoring what he now saw as a bug and focusing his attention on what could be a new friend.

Yumi is currently screaming on the inside. 'he, just, asked, me, my, NAME!'

"Oh, I'm Yumi Akido!"

'Same in this life as the last one, it'd be kinda weird getting used to a new name anyway!'

"Oh, that's cool! My name is Gon and this is Le-"

"Hey!" Lerioro interrupts. "I think I can manage to introduce myself on my own to someone who just saved my life!"

"Oh okay," Gon says unfazed.

Leorio then turns to me and bows a bit with a hand on his heart all gentleman-like.

"Thank you for warning us, I'm Leorio Paradinight it's a pleasure to meet you" Yumi almost dies.

"I'd also like to introduce myself," Kurakpika says stepping forward.

"I'm Kurapika, It's also great to meet you. But may I ask something?"

'Of course Kurpika! Anything! My number! My IP address! My Social Security Number! I don't care!'

"Yes," Yumi says bottling up everything she wanted to say out loud.

"Then how did you survive after drinking the pop and how did you know it was a laxative?" Kurpapika asks slightly suspicious.

'Oh my sweet Kuripika, you're so smart! I love you so much!'

"Oh, I knew it was a laxative because after he tried to poison me I shook it out of him what he tried to poison me with and about how I survived." I smile remembering how my favorite character replied that made him sound so cool.

"Well, stuff like that doesn't affect me," I say with an innocent smile lying through my teeth.

'Did that sound cool? That should've sounded cool' Yumi thinks assuring herself while in reality both Kirapika and Leorio got a chill up their spines.

'Creepy' they both think immediately.

Then interrupting everyone's thoughts a frog-like alarm clock rings throughout the hall bouncing off the walls, drawing everyone's attention and then directing it towards the front where a wall that was previously standing there was now being lifted seeing this Yumi smiles.

"It looks like I have to go," she says saluting the three boys. 

"See you around," she says as she walks away soon getting eaten up by the crowd.

Yay! Chapter two is done! I didn't expect it to be this long. (If I could only write essays this easily!) Anyway, I hope whoever reads this enjoyed it.
