A Warm Welcome

After about two hours on the road, Taera finally arrived at her house with her Dad. At home, Taera's Mom was waiting for them. Taera immediately took her suitcase out of the car. They entered the house.

"Honey... finally you are home," said Taera's Mom, then hugged Taera.

"Yes, Mom. I miss you so much," Taera said.

"You must be tired. Let's go in first. Come on, Dad," said Taera's Mom.

Taera's Mom helped drag Taera's suitcase to the living room. Taera's Dad followed her as well as Taera. They then sat in the living room. Taera's Mom then got a drink for Taera and Dad.

"Drink it first. You must be thirsty and tired," said Taera's Mom.

"I am not tired. I am happy to be able to pick up Taera. Taera hasn't come home for a semester," said Taera's Dad.

"Yes, Dad. I don't think it's been a long time since I've been home. Even though our house isn't that far away," said Taera.
