Chapter 67: Entitlement

"They shall be burnt with hunger,

and devoured with burning heat,

and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them,

with the poison of serpents of the dust."

'I see,' Mahalalel surmised, easily able to identify the words Toshirou spoke, and their meaning. 'Despite being inexperienced, having never open a gospel in his life, the words came easy to him. A gospel of death, from the book of Deuteronomy.'

Now, this is something you hardly hear in the world, someone reciting a passage of death and misfortune from a book of the gospel.

Deuteronomy exactly, from the time where the worlds were one.

The transparent-eyed man watched in awe, visibly interested in what the turquoise-eyed teen was about to do.

'But wait a minute? Did I tell him this wasn't a combat test?'

Judging from the boy's stance, it seemed that he did not.

'Crap, he's not listening to me!'
