Shae held the arm, straightened it, and infused mana to locate the problem first.
However, before she could move on to the real treatment, Ulysses's figure vanished under their sights. Shae let out a breath and shook her head as it was completely out of her hand now.
"He logged out," Luke said as a frown crept to his brows. "Why hadn't he done that before?"
"He was possibly in a shock before he fell unconscious," Shae answered, not completely certain. "Oh, I'm talking about both of his bodies. That much pain and blood loss can cause much more than what he showed during the fight."
"He's a tough bastard, I give you that," Luke agreed.
"It's more than just being tough," Elise interjected. "You saw those old scars all over his body. I can tell they were surgical scars, but the sheer amount of it. . . It is as if some mad scientist played with him."
