Found An Intact House

A room that was messy, things was scattered everywhere, the window was covered in wooden plank and clothes.

Candlelight was lit and it was nearing to be extinguish.

This place looks like a living room, the couch was at the side and the table is blocking the door at the other room.

In the side of this living room was a bed, and on it was a woman sitting and holding a radio that was making a buzzing sound but the radio was not working.

The woman looks to be in his 20s and she look like a strong woman.

She's Alice Larkson, daughter of a policeman.

She was wearing a big t-shirt and a jeans with a jacket on her shoulders.

Her hair was in a ponytail and her bangs was just alright, her eyes was brown and she looks beautiful.

She was trying to fix the radio but to no avail so she just give up and lay down and looking at the ceiling.

She closed her eyes and relax herself, after a while she open it again and got up.

She seems to be preparing to do something, she was going left and right, gathering everything that seems to be useful for her and stuff it at her bag that was almost full.

This house was one of the house she found intact and was still full of things.

She grab everything, food, water, clothes and others. And while rummaging through the drawer, she find a gun. She look at it for a while before hiding it and continue rummaging.

After a while, she's finish rummaging and was ready to go.

She lifted her bag that looks like it was heavy but it seems like for her it's not, then she walk to the door that was covered in wooden planks but she quickly took it off then she opened the door.

The moment she opened that door, she immediately left the house and walk cautiously while looking left and right.

The outside was actually in ruins, broken cars was everywhere, the house was destroyed and bodies was on the ground, it was a shocking sight.

But the weird thing is, the dead bodies on the ground was color brown and their limbs and other part of the bodies was gone.

While some bodies was still moving and making a sound like a hungry ghost while reaching for Alice.

And a pungent smell of blood can be smelled everywhere.

Alice walk cautiously walking while looking left and right with vigilance, ready at any moment if something approaches.

Sometimes, a big rat was passing by and Alice has to stop walking so that she couldn't be noticed.

The reason is that, the big rat was strange, it's body was clearly hurt badly but it was moving very fast, as if the injury on it's body was nothing and it's eyes has the color of gray.

The rat this time stop in front of Alice and it made her hold her breath and wait for the rat to go away.

Alice grip tightly on the knife on her waist and was ready to attack while the rat was looking elsewhere.

Luckily before Alice could take action, it left and Alice could finally heaved a sigh of relief, then she continue walking and arriving at the road.

Once she was on the road, she walked faster than before and everytime she was passing by a car, she would check on it if it's still working or not.

And while she was walking on the road, her vigilance was in full alert, after all, this world has changed and it was dangerous if you're careless.

Sometimes she would find a working car but it would quickly stopped and can't be used.

On the way, Alice often encounter a undead walking but she quickly end it and silently.

Alice was used to this and she seemed like she was experience in something like this.

All the way where the road has multiple way, she goes to the right and was surprised to find that a few of the house here seems to be intact so she visit one of them.

It was a large house and it looks clean.

Alice first check the surroundings then the window, she even knock on it to see if there's someone inside but there's no one.

Alice was delighted about this and quickly go to the main door and knock cautiously.

Knock, knock, knock.

She approach the door and let her ear on it to hear if there's something while knocking on the door.

Knock, knock, knock.

Still no one answered.

Alice cautiously grab the doorknob and open it, to her surprise it was actually unlocked so she open it and let it open wide while she grab the gun hiding on her back and point it in front of her, then she slowly step in.

When she was inside, the house was messy but the things was still intact and it can be seen that the people here was going out in panicked so some things would be stumbled.

She look behind her to see if someone was following her then she closed the door and lock it. After that, she continue exploring the house.

The house was really big and the furniture and things here looks expensive, clearly the family of this house was rich.

A few hours later, Alice was back at the living room and she could confirm that there was no one else and she was safe, then she look at the window that could see the messy outside.

Then she find a clothes that was big enough to cover the window and a wooden planks to make it more secure.

She also do it at the other window, including the one upstair and the main door.

After doing all this, she relax in the living room while putting her bag at the table, then she take out what's in it.

Mostly that was in the bag was food and clothes and some other stuff such as cup, spoon and scissors.

Then she arrange all the things and started placing it at where they should be placed.

She also clean the house so that she would be comfortable living here. Yes, she planned on staying here and this is where she would start making her base.

She doesn't care if she's the only one here, she prefers being alone anyway.

After doing the cleaning, she go to the bathroom and wash herself clean.

After washing, she go to the living room while she was wearing the robe that she find in the bathroom and drying her hair and sit at the sofa.

While she was drying her hair, she suddenly stopped and was in a daze for a second and smiled while murmuring to herself.

"How long has it been? It seems to be my first time living so comfortable", Then she completely relax while looking at the ceiling.

When she was a child, she was an orphan and watching the kid being taken away from the orphanage with full smile and happy for finding a new family, she envy them.

Until she was 12, a man take her away but she doesn't feel anything at that time and was only looking curiously at the man who take her away.

Thinking about the past, Alice shook her head and stopped thinking about it and got up then headed upstairs to on of the room.

This room was big and this was the room Alice find more comfortable to sleep in and it was the beautiful room than the others.

Before she arrive at this house, this room was a little messy but now it was clean and beautiful to look at.

Alice take off the robe she was wearing and instead wear the pajamas she find when she was cleaning this room.

Then she slowly walk to the bed and lay down then she closed her eyes and began to sleep.

For the first time ever, she finally got a comfortable sleep and it can be said that this the luckiest day Alice has ever got.

The world was dangerous now and all kinds of the undead was roaming the world while infecting more people and letting them be like the undead.

While in every part of the world, there was still a group of people that was surviving and in hiding, trying their best to stay alive and wait for this disaster to be over.
