A NEW FACE

Mercury was glaring at James and repeatedly kept screaming at him about what had happened.

"Come on lets clam down little lady" he tried to persuade her .

" little lady? fuck you I'm older than even your grandfather's grandfather do I look like a child to you!!!?" .

" um well.." james wanted to answer but.

" you dare answer that and I will liberate your head from your shoulders" She seemed to be getting angrier with each passing minute James was actually a bit helpless .

" Alright, alright that's enough mercury let the boy explain " Jin finally interupted.

"hmph " she stomped out of the room without saying another word .

"thank you" he wanted to say but when he saw the look in their eyes he stopped himself.

" Best fix him son if they kill you not even I can save you " The Chairman said, James gulped before snapping his fingers .

" Gah what the heck why am I on the ground? " Romeo shot up and dusted himself off " what's with the tension?" he asked as he scratched the back of his head.

" You got knocked out bro ,even mercury got scared." Hercules answered.

" hmm..ah!" Romeo suddenly remembered what was going on and the others filled him in on the rest" well ain't that something that's a strange ability you got what is it exactly" he asked.

" I can give commands to people almost any type of command goes buy I can't tell a person to die or kill themselves well unless they already wanted to" he explained .

"well what do you think?" the chairman asked.

" well he may not be good for a direct fight but this will be good " Jin said " well if he's not got anything else I'm going back to my children they must me, see ya " Jin waved at them as he left.

" hmm I'll go too I don't think that "child" will be happy right now " Romeo said as he glanced at James with a mocking expression as he snickered.

Eventually all of them had left the room and james was left with his grandfather.

" Are they all so carefree and emotional? how do they even get their jobs done?"James asked a bit irritated his grandma just gently shook his head

" Most of them have never had a life or lived too long they need something to keep them whole " he sighed " That aside you're settling in today do you bring Reina?" .

" Yes she should be in the- " he was interupted by the phone in the office ringing .

" hello?"

" sir the child we can't find her she was here just then she just vanished we-" a cross transmission came in

" Report,sector two target spotted she moving at high speed requesting available speed un- Report target lost !" The line was cut off and the two just stood there in silence.

" This...girl " James had a tired expression on his face and just sat on the table .

Reina flew wherever she saw a path why? because she felt like obviously

' This place is so cool '

" hold it right there missy " a guard chased here from behind

" hehe can't catch me " she increased her speed and he lost her.

"Dammit where are those speedsters!!" he shouted into his communicator .

And just like she was Zed was currently walking around with Gliss,sona and some guy named Nate, Zed was licking ice cream as they walked.

' Am I addicted to ice cream now ?' he thought as he has noticed his recent intake ' oh well whatever ' he shrugged and they continued to walk.

"So um I just tagged along but why are we walking around the base ?" Nate asked.

" Well I heard we are gonna have a new trainer in the base I wanted to see if we could catch a glimpse.

" How did you hear that?" Nate asked.

" I have my ways" she answered trying to sound mysterious and he looked at Zed with a lost expression to which Zed responded.

" She has her ways " they had turned a corner and he was about to take another lick of his ice cream when something zoomed past and knocked it over .

" woah what was that?" Gliss asked .

"A little girl?"

"My ice cream" Zed exclaimed a little heart broken and a guard came a few seconds later. looking out of breath

" Hey..is... anyone of you... a speedster ?" Nate slowly raised his hand

" Good help me catch that girl"Nate was about to agree when .

"Hold it what do we get out of it ?" Gliss asked .

" what do you want ?" the guard asked and Gliss just smiled.

" you'll find out soon "

" just-"

[ watchdog report have you lost the target?]

" fine" Gliss nodded and Nate accelerated after the target and the other two started following after.

" My ice cream.." Zed was left still standing there mourning the loss of his ice cream "why?" he whined.

' Was that Zed just now ? does he live here too ? ' Reina got excited at the thought that Zed would be here everyday she didn't notice when she had sped up .

' holy shit this girl is fast' Nate thought.

[ boost ×3] Nate was now just behind her but she hadn't noticed yet either because she was still daydreaming of playing with Zed or because she wasn't expecting it .

" Gotcha!"

" huh?" Nate grabbed her leg and tried to pull her back .

[ Unstoppable] She didn't budge or even slow down from her path and just kept moving.

" what the heck?!" Nate's shoes where skidding on the ground in an attempt to slow her down but the friction seemed to be eating up his soles . ' oh God no these are new shoes no way ' .

Nate suddenly let go and seemed to have forgotten what happens when someone suddenly stops at high speed .

"oof " he tumbled on the ground and just lay there.

" whay did you stop ?" Gliss asked as he lay on the floor, he just grumbled before saying.

"My....shoes..." he said before passing out and Gliss turned to the guard and shook her head.

Reina turned another corner as she giggled but then she saw someone with white hair ahead of her .

[ STOP] Zed said with his hands in his pocket and held her in place .

'woah he's so strong I thought only mum or grandpa could stop me when I'm using unstoppable ' the metal walls of the base vibrated from the clash .

Reina then started to remember what her parents and told her .

"Now Reina Daddy's powers make it hard to stop when I'm at full speed and yoy may be able to stop because you have a bit of mommy's power but be careful,"

" oh dear she won't remember all that , honey if you meet someone who can stop you at full speed I suggest you marry them"

Back to the present...

' Why is this girl so strong? not that I mind ' he thought as he successful retrained her a small smile on his face he walked towards her as she was suspended in the air .

" Caught you" he said as he released her .

The others arrived through Nate arrived firstto find Reina hugging Zed tightly.

" um what's happening?" Nate asked

" I dunno?" zed responded.

' Zed's so cool, hes awesome 'the others had finally arrived even James was there

" James ?"

" later" he responded

" huh why's Reina hugging you?" Gliss asked and he just shook his head .

" she won't let go " he said

" Reina could you let go of zed now ?"

"hehe~ no way I won't even let him go again I'm going to marry him" Everyone froze at her declaration even the guard reached for his communicator .
