Tyler wasn't given a chance to activate Terror Zone due to Molly's immediate attack. He quickly dodged the incoming bolts of lightning, falling to the side at a fast pace.
Although the impact of the lightning wasn't bold enough, so it couldn't get to The Hangman in time. It was way too slow to hit a highly skilled individual like Tyler.
"You seem to have a cool skill, huh? How about I show you mine?" Tyler said, trying to make Venus freak out.
However, Molly didn't give a damn about how incredible his Ability might be. She was calm, and focused, staring death into Tyler's eyes.
.
[A/N: Please note that Molly Nunez is her name and Venus is her Pseudonym].
.
Venus was masked half-face, though, Tyler only noticed the similarity between her and the picture he had in his device through her faint pinky eyes.
It was visibly the same.
Seeing that her deeds had fearless actions attached, Tyler was spooked. With haste, he quickly tried activating Terror Zone.
The Hangman had recently completed lots of Class Duties and had gained considerable amounts of Impulse Points. At this moment, Tyler had bagged up to 62 Impulse Points.
He was ready to use them to capture Venus no matter how much it could cost.
A stubborn beautiful lass like this girl needs to learn some lesson.
----------
[Two Impulse Points have been used to increase the brutality of Terror Zone.
Skill Level: Dormant Tier (Needs one more Impulse Point to level up)].
----------
Tyler decided to use two Impulse Points to match the balance to 60, however, after being notified that he had to add one IP to increase the effectiveness of the skill, he had no choice but to obey.
Recently, he had studied the way "Skills" worked, so he knew that the system was only giving him good advice.
He added one more IP and then moved closer to Venus.
The range of the Skill Levels is ranked: Dormant, Strong, Great, Grand, Transcendent, and Divine, respectively. Each Skill Level requires a certain amount of Impulse Points to be activated, and the higher the effectiveness of a skill, the greater the cost of Impulse Points required.
Now, Tyler activated a Strong Tier Level Terror Zone...
---------
[Zone effectiveness: ⅛ an Acre (Same size with a football pitch divided into eight].
----------
This was the space in which a Strong Tier Level Terror Zone could influence. Tyler was disappointed, though, he had no choice but to use it since it was just a mere human like him that he was about to confront.
If it were to be a monster or some kind of Boss, Tyler wouldn't hesitate to make the skill level up to a Transcendent Tier or maybe higher.
Since it was just Molly, he guessed a Strong Tier Level Terror Zone would do.
Molly noticed Tyler's suspicious moves as he progressed closer, but she didn't seem to make a move. She was calm and collected, like every other time and this made The Hangman stunned.
'She is fuckin fearless...'
He said inwardly.
'But, that wouldn't change the fact that she wouldn't withstand Terror Zone.'
After coming as close as required, Tyler made Terror Zone happen at that instant. As said, anything bad can happen at that spot, and before Venus could know it, some part of the concrete grounds began to transform into shapeless structures.
They charged at Molly's limbs, attempting to make it impossible for her to move. Her legs were caged, and so were her hands, her belly, and, even her b*ob's region.
'Pretty cool.'
Tyler commented.
The next moment, sharp concrete chips began to emerge from the surface of the concrete ground, charging at Venus's skin.
But Tyler didn't want this to happen.
It was going to cause her very brutal harm, and The Hangman never wanted that to happen.
What's worse... He had no idea how not to make the chips stop, but he really didn't want them to harm Molly. Even though she deserved it, to Tyler, she didn't.
"There should be another way to punish her, right?" He asked himself and also answered himself. "Yeah, there must be."
Tyler quickly deactivated Terror Zone before Venus's skin got damaged.
Venus fell on the damaged concrete ground, gasping for air as she stared at Tyler in surprise. She couldn't believe that someone like The Hangman could have this kind of Ability.
It was so powerful... And unique.
No one had seen this Ability being used before, and she wondered how Tyler attained it.
"Could it be that he gained a Privilege too?" Venus muttered to herself, wondering.
Tyler rushed to her, trying to erase this act to counter. His actions were replaced by cool friendly approaches, as he tried to help Venus get up.
"Are you o..."
However, the one he tried to help had to take advantage of him.
*Strikes*
Tyler got attacked by some bolts of lightning just as he got closer to Venus and was sent flying far in the air.
James attempted to shoot, but was suddenly struck by just a single bolt, his revolver shattered into fragments.
Venus approached Tyler with bold steps as he lay on the ground, groaning in pain.
"I told you... No one survives getting in my way. You are way too weak to defeat me, Hangman," Venus said as she chuckled.
"Rip man, make sure you die and die again on your way to hell."
Venus said those words with an evil smile as she summoned large portions of lightning on her palms, about to unleash them upon The Hangman's sorry, pale face.
But... Suddenly...
[Attention Players!]
Charlotte interrupted Venus.
'Crap!'
[I'm Charlotte, your Invisible Information NPC. Let me go straight to the point...]
[The game authority introduced a feature called the Attribute System. This is a situation whereby Players can invest and study their well-being, the state of their force, and the level of their physical aspects.
These are called Attributes, and there are five of them: Energy, Strength, Agility, Endurance, and Health. The combination of all these determines a Player's physical state, however, with the use of Impulse Points, Players can increase every Attribute by a unit.
For instance, a Player can use one Impulse Point to make an Energy of 1 become 2. Impulse Points are the only source of increase for Attributes, note that.
This is all I have to say for now. You can get descriptions of every Attribute from the game system. Good luck, Players].
----------
Charlotte's voice stopped echoing around the game world as her announcement finished. Now, Venus returned her gaze to the fool she was about to slay before being interrupted.
But...
"Where the hell is he?"
Venus's eyes widened, vexed. The Hangman had just vanished without her realizing it.
However, on the other hand, Tyler ran through a forest, gasping for air. After running quite deep, he stopped and leaned against a giant tree.
Sigh...
He tried to calm down. He then inhaled, and exhaled.
The Hangman calmed down.
"Oof, I can't believe I ran from that bitch."
