Antagonist of My Heart

Standing under the big chandelier, both of them stared at each other. The calmness of the church couldn’t conceal the cold atmosphere. The priests’ words ringed in her ears. She batted her eyelids of boredom as a small sigh escaped her lips. ‘For all the efforts I made to have you in my life, you called me a Villainess. But you never realized, all I ever wanted was a happy ending for you. I gave up. When I look back, I realized I never fought for you, and I never tried to be the happy ending for you. Now that I know, I will have you no matter what it takes.’ She thought to herself as she stared at his dark orbs. Her heart tingled with mixed feelings. She raised herself and pressed a kiss against his lips. His usually stoic expression was rather a sad one. His dimmed eyes fluttered with weird emotion. *** She was serious when she kissed the man she loved goodbye and that marked the start of a new journey for her. She was sure that this time, It was all going to end on a happy note for her. No drama, no hate. It was meant to be simple and sweet romance but expectations could only disappoint her. Instead of a new sweet romance she was brought back to the square one with her first love. Was she sure she had moved on? YES. *** Sang Qian sighed. “Ugh!” She let out an annoyed grunt. Before he could step away. She held the collar of his shirt and pulled his torso closer. Wang Zhao was careful of her moves. Her eyes had a cold glint in them. She leaned in, her acting bossy was something that made his heart skip a beat. She was so close to him that he was ready to kiss her. She brushed her lips against his. Their lips touched. He leaned forward to press them together but she leaned backwards. He paused and looked up. He saw her smirk. “You’re not the only one who can play with me..” she sighed. Wang Zhao held a sudden urge to take her down. He gulped the lump in his throat. [NO CLICHES & NO LONG BORING CHAPTERS GUARANTEED] Add it to your library!! Read my other book - Totally opposites? I kissed him last night

Ji Jin stepped inside the hall, in her navy blue dress. She wore a glittery navy gown with her hair tied in an up-do.

Her dress was off shoulder, showing off her sharp collar bone. She fitted perfect in that gown with a side slit from her knee. Her fair face had minimal makeup and her pink lips layered with gloss. She looked rather perfect.

Her eyes roamed around and the first person she saw was a smiling Wang Yuhan. His eyes turned into crescent moons when he laughed.

He was talking to Wang Zhao and Li Zinhuo. He had his phone in his hand. His navy-blue suit was fitting his muscular built.

On the other hand, Wang Yuhan was busy talking with Wang Zhao and Li Zinhuo. He felt someone was staring a little too intensely at him.

He looked around and his eyes stopped on Ji Jin, staring at him. Her hands were clutched together with her phone in her hand.

His lips curved up lightly as he waved friendly at her. She smiled back at him. He excused himself and walked to her side.

His eyes traveled down her body very lightly before he held her hand. "Thank-you for coming. I might have been dying because Sang Qian would again reject me and I would be alone again." His expression seemed as if he was tired.

She nodded even though she felt like punching him in the face. He spoiled the mood just when she entered. She pulled her hand back with a fake smile. "You look handsome today, be ware of all the Aunts offering you their girls."

He sighed. "Can't help it, can we? I have always been this handsome. No wonder Girls die to just have a glance at me. I am popular for a reason."

She scoffed and just then, she spotted Sang Qian," I will go and greet everyone now." She didn't even wait and turned around, revealing her bare back.

He stiffened,' Did I never notice it before.. she has a sexy back.' He cleared his throat,"Jin!" he exclaimed. Her named escaped his lips unintentionally. She turned around raising her brows. 'You look beautiful today.' He didn't know what to say instead of this. He sighed. "nevermind."

She gave him a disheartened smile. Her face turned sour again as she walked to Sang Qian. She noticed that Sang Qian was scrolling through her phone with no one around her. She put her hand on her shoulder. "Oh my soul. I am in heaven I guess, I have seen an angel!" She propped her hand on her chest and let out a fake gasp.

Sang Qian laughed lightly. "C'mon Jin, I am rather a fallen angel."

Ji Jin smiled. "Well, why are you standing alone? Also, I have something to share. Can we get some place to sit?" She asked.

Sang Qian nodded. "Follow me."

Ji Jin lifted the wine glass from the tray in the waiter's hand winking lightly at him. Sang Qian chuckled at her actions.

They both headed to one side where tables were arranged, but surprisingly they were booked so they both decided to go to the balcony. The low music in the hall couldn't be heard anymore.

Ji Jin bit her lip as she lifted the wine glass to her lips. "I kissed him last night."

Sang Qian who was drinking Rosé, suddenly choked on her drink. "Why would you do that?" she asked rather surprised.

Ji Jin was embarrassed. "He isn't aware I did. He was asleep, didn't I tell you this morning that I was with Wang Yuhan from last two days in his apartment? It happened last night. I.. stole a kiss. I couldn't hold myself back."

Sang Qian was shocked. "How did it happen?"

Ji Jin sighed. "he was laying in his bed peacefully..."

The previous night,

Ji Jin walked to the Wang Yuhan's room. She wanted to ask his permission before leaving. She wasn't used to living with someone. It was rather uncomfortable for her. She opened the door and surprisingly he was asleep. Her lips curved upwards at the sight of him sleeping soundly.

She tip toed to his side and stared at his face. She stroked his cheek lightly. He stirred and grabbed her hand, still asleep.

She stiffened. He intertwined her fingers with his and turned around, causing her to loose balance. She managed not to touch him. She supported herself with her arm on one side of his face.

Her heart raced with sudden closeness. She pulled her hand back lightly. Her lips brushed against his lightly. She felt a jolt of current pass through her body. She looked at his lips before she leaned in lightly, placing her lips on his.

She pulled back almost immediately. "Sorry. I know I cannot have your heart. Stealing a kiss is a penalty." She mumbled and slowly removed her fingers from his hands. "I will leave a note.." she mumbled and decided to leave.

Sang Qian gasped. "You have got no shame." She stated sarcastically.

Ji Jin shrugged. "Cannot deny on that one but, I don't think its bad unless he finds out."

Sang Qian nodded. "You are falling for him more and more."

Ji Jin bit her lip. "Cannot deny that, but seriously I tried avoiding him, he is the one who was giving me countless calls everyday just to make sure I wasn't mad at him. When I didn't attend any of those, he showed up at the hospital."

"Little does he fancy you. That bastard really thinks he has fallen for me? He really is into you." Sang Qian smiled.

Ji Jin shook her head. "Stop being stubborn Qian, just accept his feelings for you. You like him too, why don't you give it a shot?"

Sang Qian frowned. "You seriously are not so self centred, you clearly LOVE HIM, yet you are asking me to give him a shot. Be honest, will you be able to take it, if I do?"

Ji Jin smiled. "I wouldn't have asked you if I couldn't. And stop being loud what if someone hears you."

Sang Qian smiled. "Then, I will give it a shot."

Ji Jin smirked. "Very well. I am ready then."

Both of them clicked their glasses together and chugged down their respective drinks in one go.

Wang Zhao was standing along his mother, who just arrived in the hall.

She had a smile playing on her lips. "Mi Chan will be here shortly. But before the announcement of your engagement, I have to make another announcement."

Wang Zhao frowned. "Ok. Well, I am nervous."

She patted his shoulder," You are the best son, go and greet your father now. He is with his friends. I will take care of the rest. I can't seem to see Sang Qian, have you seen her?"

Wang Zhao blinked. "Well, I did see her. She is the only one wearing a black gown here. Weird as ever."

Mrs Wang pinched his cheek,"Will you stop acting like a bullied kid, I will go find her myself. Maybe, I can pester her to give Yuhan a shot?"

Wang Zhao stiffened. "You're seriously planning to get them in a relationship. What about Ji Jin?"

Mrs Wang frowned. "What do you mean?" She asked rather intrigued.

Wang Zhao scoffed. "Yuhan clearly likes Jin, for sure. Did you not notice him staring at her every-time she is around. Its been more than five years that they have been close."

Mrs Wang smiled. "Is it the case? Well, I am cool with anyone. I just want him to be serious about his relationship. That's what matters."

Wang Zhao shook his head. "Mom, You seriously can't change. I will go now. Do tell me when Mi Chan is here. I will escort her inside."

Mrs Wang nodded and both of them parted ways. She found Sang Qian and Ji Jin together. She thought,' both future daughter-In-laws together. It's confusing whom to chose.' She smiled at then awkwardly. "Hello ladies? Mind accompanying me?"

Both of them greeted her respectfully and Ji Jin commented. "Oh my god! Another angel! Aunty, I am gay for you!"

Mrs Wang chuckled at her outrageous statement. "Well, Your love is denied my dear. But let's go now. I hope you can both help me with a little bit of settlement here."

Sang Qian nodded. "Sure, but before that, tell me, do I Look like a villainess straight out of the reality TV?" She propped her finger under her chin giving a pose.

Mrs Wang eyed her. "You both do actually."

Qin Si hugged Ji Jin from behind. "Don't leave me out." She exclaimed.

Ji Jin was surprised. "You lied to me again! You said you were not coming back!" She yelled in a low voice.

Qin Si chuckled. "Sorry boo!"

Mrs Wang Sighed. "Follow me please!"

Li Zinhuo was standing beside Wang Zhao dressed in his formal wine suit with black shirt underneath. He had a wine tie on and diamond cuffs. He looked rather charming. His hand held his phone as he scrolled through it. "Social media is boring." He made a comment as he turned the gadget off.

He raised his head to look at Wang Zhao who was staring at someone. He followed the line of sight. "Why are you staring at her like that?" he asked.

Wang Zhao sighed. "I am making sure she doesn't cause trouble. I told her my eyes were on her."

Li Zinhuo smirked," I feel someone is attracted to my cousin."

Wang Yuhan whispered. "Sang Qian is attractive enough. She looks so sexy in that black dress. Oof, my queen."

Wang Zhao almost screamed.

"You scared me fool!"

Li Zinhuo and Wang Yuhan started laughing. "Well you didn't deny she is attractive."

Wang Zhao smirked. "wait till my love arrives."

Li Zinhuo noticed that Sang Qian was walking towards them. He turned his head towards Wang Zhao who crossed his arms over his chest staring back at her.

She smiled at them. "Greeting everyone. Yuhan, Can I have a dance with you? I also have something to discuss."

Wang Yuhan eyed other two men who gave him way. He smiled and took her hand. "Sure babe." Sang Qian smacked his arm and they both left.

Wang Yuhan's gaze burned over her smiling face and their hands held together. He smiled at Li Zinhuo. "She might be sister-in-law you know?" His words sounded rather funny to himself.

Li Zinhuo sighed. "I wonder how chaotic it would be, with you two under the same roof." He tried his best to imagine but failed.

Just then Mrs Wang came by their side. "Here comes Mi Chan." She pointed in direction of the huge staircase.
