Ji Jin was standing in the hotel lobby, when she felt a pat on her shoulder. She turned around to see her younger brother with a mask and a cap. She knew it was him because of the cap. It had Kai written by the edge.
She sighed and Kai handed her a small bag. She smiled. "Thanks."
"Where is your lover, I want to see him." Kai demanded. He had a subtle smile.
"He is sleeping. Let him rest. By the way, did you get any other task and did you complete it?" She asked with a worried expression.
"I certainly did. I might regret it in the future."
"What was it?"
"It's already done sister." Kai patted her shoulder.
"Kai, here." She handed him his passport and tickets. "Take this and leave the country before tomorrow morning. You have to. I did tell Yuhan about you but I know that maybe the Mayor knows about your existence too. I have hidden it for long now. You need to leave before you get caught. I will handle everything by myself here."
"I cannot leave you alone.." Kai wanted to protest but Jin cut him off.
"If you love me Kai, you need to leave. For our mother's sake. Please. She is on her last days. She wants you by her side. Just leave." Jin smiled and hugged Kai. Kai kissed her head before he left.
After Kai left she turned to her normal self. Her expression was sad and she didn't notice a man dressed in an all black outfit watching them from the nearest couch. He was sitting there with the newspaper covering most of his face.
He smirked and he put on his mask before anyone could see and walked outside.

The next day,
Wang Zhao opened his eyes habitually. He looked at Sang Qian, who was sleeping peacefully in his arms. Even though the light in the room was pretty dim, he could still see her.
He frowned and the memories from the night before flashed in his brain. "She is so annoying." He mumbled. Her bare back faced him as he realized his arm was around her.
He sighed. Why had everything turned upside down in a time period of a mere day? He took a relaxing deep breath and could smell her sweet cologne. He sighed and didn't feel like moving. He had not had such a deep sleep lately.
He thought about what she did the night before. He clearly remembered getting a head massage while sleeping. Why was she so caring even after how bad he had done to her? She clearly didn't fake it.
The thought made him go crazy with the guilt filled inside of him. He never hated Sang Qian, he always hated the fact that he was affected by her, he felt guilty because of her. He regretted his decisions because of her.
His eyes turned cold and he was about to pull away when he realized something. She was fast asleep and if she woke up it would make him even more guilty. He dropped his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes again. A tear escaped his eyes.
"Why did I end up hurt after loving Mi Chan so much?" He asked himself as he tried to suppress his feelings. He closed his eyes again not bothering to push her away.
He simply tried to sleep but failed. Now the closeness made him feel uncomfortable as she shifted from time to time. He picked up his phone from the nightstand.
It was around 10 am. The thick grey curtains didn't let the light in and he didn't realize it. His lips twitched and he turned his head to look at her. She had turned around. He very carefully unwrapped her arms which were now tugging on his forearm. "You will be embarrassed if you know what you did last night."
He had a peaceful and calm expression on his face. His brows relaxed a little when he noticed her cute expression. He shook his head and stepped out of the bedroom.

Sang Qian fluttered her lashes as she slowly opened her eyes. She sighed and looked around. There was no one in the room. More like she thought so. Suddenly flashes from last night hit her.
She remembered giving him a light head massage but nothing else. She twitched her lips, a new battle begins. She stepped out of the bed and fixed the bedsheets and duvet habitually. After she was done making the bed, she walked to the small mirror.
She noticed her messed appearance. She fixed her nightdress and noticed how sexy it actually looked. Her eyes widened.
"Why did I not notice it before?! It is exposing."
She closed her eyes as her face turned red. She complained to no one in particular and decided to take a bath, but what would she wear?
She brushed her hand through her hair. As she entered the bathroom, she saw a bag inside. It wasn't the same as yesterday.
She peeped inside and a satisfied smile was plastered on her lips.
After taking the bath, she changed into the lavender shaded knee-length dress. It had a very fade floral pattern made of cream and yellow flowers.
She looked beautiful as ever in that dress. She also put on some makeup as she knew she would have to face her In-laws again.
As soon as she stepped outside. She was met with sight of Wang Zhao. He was standing close to the mirror and looked like he just entered the room.
He was wearing a casual cream t-shirt with blue straight pants. His hair were not styled formally. He looked handsome yet cute.
He looked at her from head to toe. He noticed her neatly straightened hair. "Are you ready?"
She nodded her head. He handed her another bag. "Here are your heels. This is the best I could do."
She raised her brows as she stepped forward and pulled out a box from the bag. It revealed a matching pair of lavender heels. She looked at him and seeing the anticipation she purposely made an arrogant expression. "Not my type but fine."
She didn't know that Wang Zhao was always a step ahead. He saw her smile through the mirror when she turned around to put them on. He shook his head and walked to the bed taking a seat. She packed all her stuff and after a few minutes they were ready to leave.
Wang Zhao handed her the mask and shades. She put them on as they both were used to media. They have topped charts before. It wasn't something new, but being together as a couple was kind of different. They had to act like one.
"We will be heading straight to the Mansion. There is a lot of media outside. Just follow me and don't leave my hand." Wang Zhao warned as he held her wrist and looked outside. They were about to step out of the hotel.
Sang Qian felt warmth from his small actions. He was caring in his own way. Did he mean this when he said he would take her responsibility?
Wang Zhao pulled her closer and wrapped an arm around her as the bodyguards surrounded them. They walked through the crowd straight to the big SUV parked on the opposite side.
Sang Qian raised her glasses and winked at one of the cameras as always. Wang Zhao pulled her inside the car and she followed him in. She removed her mask and shades before she let out a sigh.

Wang Zhao and Sang Qian were sitting in front of Mr and Mrs Wang. The atmosphere in the study was rather tensed.
Both of them staring at their feet, not knowing what to do or say. Wang Zhao turned his head to look at her sad expression. He closed his eyes and turned to look at his mother who was staring at Qian.
"I am so disappointed in you Qian. You said you've moved on.." before Mrs Wang could continue, Wang Zhao cut her off.
"No mother, it's not her fault." His voice held a hint of annoyance. He looked at Sang Qian and she stared at him in surprise. "Leave the study, I want to have a talk with them in private." He commanded.
She blinked in confusion. "But why?"
"Just leave. I will clear everything. Don't force me to force you."
Sang Qian simply nodded and left giving an apologetical look to Mr and Mrs Wang. Wang Zhao on the other hand sighed. His voice was cold.
"Why are you all blaming her? It's my fault. I was the one to plan all of this. To put her in a situation where she could take this step." He confessed.
Mr Wang was amused. "I know that, but what are you going to do now?" He question his son.
"I am going to take this relationship seriously. I know how bad I hurt her in the past, I want to make it up to her for that. I want her to know that I did make effort. I will try my best to pay for all I did." He muttered.
"What about Mi Chan, are you sure you will get over her?" Mrs Wang complained.
"It's a long story mom, I expected everything to happen." He didn't look in his mother's eyes.
"If you cannot be present in a marriage after getting married, you will make Sang Qian's life a living hell. That girl has such a fragile hurt. I feel bad for her. She loves you, it's clear. You never loved her. How Are you sure you will now?" Mrs Wang Questioned.
Wang Zhao felt as if a ice was poured over him. He sighed. He closed his eyes taking a deep breath. "I don't know about love mom. I will try."
Ji Jin, who is she exactly?
