Day Six: Weapon

After cleaning his self and wearing his uniform, John looked around once again, there were no monsters nor animals around him, all he could see was the abundant nature, without any animals around it.

'Staying here would mean death, I need to get stronger..., my everyday magic is not enough... I can't even kill a rabbit with it! haa... I need a weapon' John sigh as he decided on his first step to survival.

John walked around looking for materials he could use.

A few minutes passed and he finally found something, it was a vine. A strong one at that. John immediately characterized the vine and used 'Enhanced Discerning Eyes'.

A long and strong vine that could be found around Pogus Trees, after living together with a pogus tree this vine has absorbed some of the pogus tree's strength. This vine is mostly used for creating Beginner-type Whips and when cleaned can be used as a rope.

'Perfect!, an easy to understand material!' John thought as he took every vine he sees around him.

After a few minutes, no more Fera Vines can be seen hanging around on any Potus tree around John.

John already knows what he would use it for and what he would create using the blacksmithing skill he learned.

He took out all of his (small) Broken Haki Reindeer antlers and picked the ones that are sharp and strong and can be used as a blade.

He confirmed every piece then moved the 3 pieces he picked out and he put the rest back in his storage.

'This one can be already used as a dagger or knife, only a handle is missing...' he thought as he took out another piece of material from his storage. It was a Sagra Twig.

He broke the Sagra twig in half then he put half of the twig back to the storage, the other piece was also broken into two pieces.

'Now it Can be a Handle' John measured the size he would use the sagra twig and adjusted it to the haki reindeer antler.

'About 3 and a half inch... Would be right' As John measure the size of the handle for the dagger, his Unique Passive Skill 'Quick Calculation' has been continuously activating.

John used the antler to cut the twig and size it to his desirable shape. The two broken sagra twig that John made from the sagra twig he broke in half, was shaped like a handle.

Each twig was sculpted to be half the side for the handle. After sculpting it, he took out 3 yellow hapin flowers. And used 'Enhanced Discerning Eyes' to the flower

Yellow Hapin Flowers when still fresh produce sticky liquids that can be used as a binding tool.

John nodded as he confirmed the characteristics of the yellow hapin flower. Then he put them in a nearby rock and pound them with another rock. After a few pounding, the sticky liquid finally emerged.

John collected the liquid using a stick and rub the liquid on the two half handle. Then he put the (Small) Broken Haki Reindeer Antler in between the two handles. He shut it close then he took out the fera vines and picked the thinnest but strong one and wrapped it around the handle. Then he used the sticky liquid from Yellow Hapin Flower and covered the wrapped vine with it.

'Yosh!, The handle is strong enough... Though... it's still sticky...' John put the dagger down to a leaf and let the sticky liquid harden.

Then he took the other two (Small) Broken Haki Reindeer Antler and used the sharp edges of the two, he uses the other broken antler to shape the other and vice versa.' Sculpting' skill was activated, After a few minutes of shaping the two broken antlers now has no rough edges and looks like a knife.

'It became dull...' John looked around him and looked for a whetstone. He keeps looking but found nothing. John looked at a nearby rock and thought of using it as a substitute for a whetstone.

'It would take longer and it might not become sharper..., oh well! it wouldn't hurt... Would it?' John was hesitant but decided to use it.

He picked up one of the knife-shaped antlers and wrap a part of his cloth to the bottom that would be used as a handle. He tried to use the skill 'Blacksmithing' but it didn't work.

John didn't know it but the LVL 1 Blacksmithing skill can only be activated when the user is in front of a furnace or an anvil.

The creation of the dagger from raw materials without processing it is not called blacksmithing. For people who don't know how to create weapons, John would look like he was using a beginner LVL 1 blacksmithing. But in the eyes of a craftsman, what John is doing is even below blacksmithing.

He was only using the 'Sculpting' skill.

"..." John was silent as he read through the workplace of each Production job. He didn't know how to react to the new information given to him.

'Calm down... I'm still level 1 so I can't waste time being grumpy... If I met that monster again I'll surely die... I need to level up" as John calmed his mind and heart he looks at the finished dagger lying on a leaf before putting every material that was outside his storage back into it.

He took the lying dagger and used 'Enhance Discerning Eyes' on it.

A dagger was created by combining a refined (small) Broken Haki Reindeer Antler with a Sagra twig that was sculpted to be a handle and a thin Fera Vine use to hold the handle. The Sticky liquid of a fresh Yellow Hapin Flower was used as a binding tool for the Antler, the Handle, and the Vine.

*Due to the double point on top of the antler, there's a low chance of inflicting the effect 'Bleed' to the target when hit in a vital spot*

John holds the dagger tightly as he thrust it in front, Slash it horizontally and vertically, and Holds it backward facing the dagger towards him.

'Hmm... This would be enough...

I need to Plunder skills and stats... I need to get out of here fast...' John decided to move and look for prey that's easy to hunt.

John ran through the forest while being alert for the monsters, He saw a rabbit and the rabbit saw him. They both stop moving the moment their eyes met.

'This Rabbit...it stopped the moment it saw me... This is no ordinary rabbit...' John was right, the rabbit in front of him with brown fur and a white spot on its head is one of the intelligent creatures of Ashura, and has strong stamina.

John decided to use the skill 'Enhanced Discerning Eyes' as he describes it, and a second later an alarm was heard.

An Intelligent rabbit that can be found in the center of a forest where Potus trees are located, This intelligent little creature grew eating the fruits of a Potus tree, making it incredibly hard to catch, the stamina of a Potus rabbit is 3 times higher than a normal horse, and its mana is higher than an average human.

*Using Potus Fruits as bait will be an effective way to capture it. But, be mindful, for the Potus Rabbit is as Intelligent as an adult human, making it the favorite pet of young nobles.

'damn..., 3 times higher stamina than a horse!?, and this furry bastard has more mana than an average human?!, well sh*t' John once again lost his composure and cursed, he was really angry as the place he thought Regarde brought him was not for a Lvl 1.
