A happy Selene inside a carriage donned with a dark dress was happily giggling and in front was an irritated Theo, who was wearing a perfectly black and white formal noble wear, was trying to distract himself from by looking outside, avoiding Selene's mocking face.

"... Shut up"

"Loser~~ Hehehehe" Selene giggled as she swayed her legs left and right.

"..."

ugh, this is the reason why I always try to win against her.

It has been two days since the spar between Theo and Selene. Selene woke up the very next day and asked Elsa if she had one the Spar, thinking it was all a dream, but was met with confirmation. If Elsa wasn't there to confirm her victory, Selene wholeheartedly believed that Theo would've lied to her and led her into believing that he won.

Selene ,after hearing this, has been in the same mood since yesterday. She would smirk and chuckle every time she saw Theo. She even visited Theo, who was practicing swordsmanship in the training hall, yesterday afternoon to telepathically mock him for losing.

This is also the reason why I take first place from her. She always eases up the next month, making it easier for me to get the win. 

Thought Theo, while thinking of the perfect scenario for him to win against Selene in the future.

"Stop chuckling like an idiot and get ready. We're almost there" Theo said in a flat tone

"Ok~ Mr. Loser hehehehe" 

"..... You piss me off" 

"Good~ hehehehe"

"We've arrived, Young master and mistress" said Bennet while knocking.

<We're finally here, ugh I hate this> Theo

<Thank god I'm not eating that> Selene

<There's no way I'm letting you win next time> Theo

Both Selene and Theo grabbed a brown robe and covered themselves up to remain anonymous and indiscernible from the crowd. They didn't want to get mobbed by a bunch of people, because of how famous they were. They were, after all, the children of the two strongest nations of the world.

After the two got down from the carriage, they were met with Elsa and Bennet who were waiting for them and a crowd of people, mostly commoners, going about their day to day life. Theo and Selene stood there and admired the medieval cityscape, well mostly their past life selves were in admiration.

"Me and Elsa will always be behind you. The young master and mistress are welcome to sightsee as much as they want." Bennet and Elsa respectfully bowed.

People would ask, why would the two, arguably, few of the most important people roam around with only two people accompanying them? The answer for that is who their getting accompanied by.

Bennet and Elsa would be enough to deal with most incidents that could happen at any moment.

Bennet was a Tower Paladin, an extremely rare class, as well as being the top 5000 peak expert in Virtus, while Elsa was a Dark Earth Mage with a rare dual attribute and is also one of the top 5000 peak experts in Vitoten. Both were also at the age of 21, which is exceedingly astonishing for accounting their age, this just goes to show how much care both Selene and Theo get, to the point where they were given them experts as their servants. There were also 20 other experts who stood guard around the city in case of emergency, 10 from each country. There were also two masters on standby in case of a bigger tragedy that may occur.

Theo was in the start of Adept class, showcasing how much of a prodigy he was compared to his peers. Even geniuses only make it into the top of Intermediate at the age of fourteen.

Selene was in the bottom of intermediate class, which is the standard for those who started training at her age, but was behind most of the characters in tier, because of the debuffs she currently had.

Amidst the unassuming cityscape, Theo and Selene embraced the charm of simplicity. They meandered through the streets, savored delectable street food and immersed themselves in the vibrant energy of street performances. Despite the city's unremarkable appearance, Theo and Selene found profound joy in these shared moments. This was, after all, going to be one of only instances where they can enjoy their time in peace, before their thrust in the harshness of the world they were about to experience.

Elsa was, again, taken aback by the burst of energy Selene was showing. As far as she remembered, Selene was always a meek and shy girl who barely had the ability to utter a word to people she wasn't close with.

Selene, because of the curse, was always quick to be tired and was usually found locked inside her room or the library, now she was basically running around dragging Theo by the arm when something piqued her interest. 

Theo was checking out the magic accessories until Selene started dragging him away.

"Stop pulling me out of nowhere! I'm not a doll! Selene!"

"Look! Look! The guy summoned a dozen doves from his hat. Do you think that's magic? let's ask him, Theo!"

Despite Theo's voice of reluctance, he still relented to Selene's selfishness

Both Theo and Selene didn't realize that both of them were openly expressing their childishness to Bennet and Elsa. Their past lives had a significant effect on Selene's and Theo's personality. They were more open and true to their desires, which you'd hardly see in the stoic Theo and meek Selene of the original game.

"Huhuhu"

Elsa couldn't help but chuckle, Bennet was also in line with Elsa and was happy to see his master enjoying himself instead of training himself day and night. 

Bennet would always see his musclehead master always occupy himself in training and barely had any social interactions with those of his age.

While both servants fervently admired both of their masters, both masters were communicating their plans through telepathy. 

<The tent should be around here, she always spawns this time of the afternoon> Theo

<kekeke, I can't wait for your to eat that> Selene

<..... > Theo

After a bit of walking they ended up back again in the city center where they were dropped earlier, this time there was a conspicuous purple tent beside the plaza fountain. 

<There it is, Theo, hurry go> Selene pestering

<Stop pushing me, I know need to go> Theo

All four of them entered the tent. They were greeted by a dark interior with a mysterious lady covered in a large purple robe, which prevented anyone from seeing her face. She was sitting behind a clothed table with a very dim and tiny lantern hanging loosely close on the top of her head.

The lady gestured towards the two seats in front of the table

"Please seat, Lady Selene and Sir Theodore" the lady said in a slightly raspy tone, indicating her as someone of old age.

Both Bennet and Elsa were shocked and alerted. They swiftly went in front of Theo and Selene in a blink of an eye and questioned the old lady

"Name yourself" Elsa said coldly as she prepared a spell in case of emergency.

"Hehehe, young ones are always so energetic, apologies but both of you have to sleep for a bit. Don't worry both your masters will be safe and sound"

"What do yo-" Bennet was cut off

Thud* 

Elsa and Bennet just fell to the ground unconscious.

Both Theo and Selene couldn't help but gulp in fear, after all, the person in front of them was a Grand Master. 

"Now, then I didn't expect both of you to appear, but care for some soup?"
